Footsteps echoed through the halls as a navy blue haired boy ran through. The boy was Shin Higaku. Rumors had it that he was going to see his childhood friend today. The childhood friend was Oka Ruto. She was gone for a few weeks but came back anyway.

A small smile came to his face as he thought about seeing Oka again. He recently got 4 new members in the Occult club and wishes that Oka would be proud of him.

He barely arrived to his destination when someone beat him to it. Of course it was Taro. Shin's smile dropped when he saw her blush deep red for the boy in front of her. His shoulders slumped and he sighed in defeat before walking back to the Occult club.

The door gently opened with a soft 'click'. Everybody's eyes diverted to the door only to see a small girl standing in front of it.

"W-Welcome back, Oka." Shin's loud yet soft voice made Oka look up and meet soft dark blue eyes. Oka grinned before hugging the boy in front of her. Shin couldn't help but blush at the sudden contact, but he knew it was nothing serious.

Oka let go and her eyes scanned the room. Her eyes widened to see 4 more people inside the room, she let out a small squeak and jumped backwards. The other members placed their books down and stared at their leader.

"G-Guys, this is Oka Ruto. S-She will be your leader from now on." The others nodded and reached back for their book, before one of them stood up.

"H-Hey Ruto-Sama. I-I'm Supana Churu a-and I am r-really looking forward w-with you being o-our leader." Supana extended her hand for Oka to take. Oka hesitantly took and shook hands.

"Y-You don't have to be shy Ruto-Sama, you are our l-leader after all." Kokuma spoke out of the blue. Oka looked down for a second before smiling and looking at everybody in the room.

"I will t-try my best."

It was the next day and everybody was doing their normal routines. But today, Oka and Shin were at the school's rooftop to discuss something rather private. They were casually sitting down before Oka spoke.

"I met a guy yesterday." Oka blushed a deep red just by thinking about her Senpai. "I-I think I have a crush on him." Shin frowned but remained calm anyway. He had a crush on her ever since middle school but was too nervous to even confess his feelings to her.

"I'm gonna c-confess to him this Friday." A bright smile crossed Oka's face and Shin smiled too, little did she know it was fake. He felt his heart drop to his stomach as sadness overpowered him. But what could he do? Nothing.

Friday, the day of love. Well, to Akademi High anyway. Oka planned on confessing her love to Taro on this day, even with all the bad luck she had gotten this past week. She didn't know that Ayano was sabotaging their relationship and she didn't even know this girl existed!

She inserted the pink note in Taro's locker and ran away right after. She ran to the school's legendary cherry blossom tree, where she would confess her feelings for him. Shin watched as Oka ran away, his eyes never leaving her locker. He sighed sadly before walked away.

"You wanted to meet me here?" A loud yet soft voice spoke, startling Oka. She stood under the cherry blossom tree with an envelope in her hands. Taro was also under that tree, confused that the girl wanted him under the tree.

Oka nodded and handed him the envelope. He gently took it out of her hands and opened it. He grabbed the note that was inside it and read the letter.

After reading it, he stuffed it into his pocket and backed away. Oka stared at him confusingly before tearing up. She knew exactly what he was doing.

He bowed and said, "I-I'm sorry... I-" He stuttered, finding a sentence that fits the situation.

"N-No! I-It's okay! I-It's-!" Oka couldn't take it anymore and ran down the hill, her hands in front of her eyes as she cried. She unconsciously ran in the school, not knowing where she was going.

She was running and running before she bumped into someone's chest. Without even looking at who it belongs to, she wrapped her arms around it and sobbed on it's chest.

"It's going to be okay, Oka... It's going to be okay." The person stroked her messy hair soothingly and allowed Oka to it's embrace. Oka looked up to see Shin hushing her. She mentally smiled and pulled back to his embrace.

"I love you Oka..." Shin muttered, they both flinch before Oka melted.

"I love you too, Shin." She went on her tip-toes and kissed Shin, enjoying every moment.
