I woke up and went downstairs to breakfast
I sat next to Austin and Katie as Kevin and flora served us
"Don't you think flora and Kevin make a good couple?" I ask Austin
He nods
Austin and I are "a couple"
Aka parents forcing us to date for the sake of the kingdom blah blah blah
We spent some time together
But not a lot
We use to be friends before this
We were really close like family
But he left his real girlfriend for this
So I see why he doesn't really enjoy being with me
We ate breakfast then I went with Austin to the garden
"Come with me please" I say leading Austin into the greenhouse
I sat down next to a rose bush "here" I say picking a rose
I gave it to him carefully
"Careful there's thorns..." I say
He gave it back
"You keep it. It suits you better" he says emotionlessly
"Listen I know that you hate me and I'm sorry you have to go through this as well" I say
He ignored me and left...
I sat there playing with the thorns on the rose
Watching my fingers bleed every time I touch a thorn
Flora came looking for me and saw my hand bleeding a lot
She took care of my hand and made sure I was better
She was like a father to me.
Made sure nobody hurts me and was overprotective.
She means well...
I just hope Austin and I can go back to normal
