Kits pov
We sat down and ate our food silently
It's really awkward
Austin and I were both on our phones
So much for looking like a couple...
"Hey Austin...prom is in a couple days are you gonna go?" I asked
He shrugged
I thought he was gonna be nice to me
I couldn't even finish eating
I felt...hurt
I started tearing up
I can't let him see me like this
"I-I'm so sorry I need to go home and um do stuff" I say running off
I ran into the nearest ally way and hurried my head into my legs and...cried
The last time I cried was when I had that nightmare when I was a kid...
The nightmare...

"AUSTIN WHERE ARE YOU?!" I screamed
"Well princess are you lost?" A person asked me
"I'm looking for my friend..." I say nervously
"Heh...you can see him after your dead!"the person said
He took a knife out and attempted to stab me
I quickly dodged but he ended up cutting my stomach
"KIT!!" I hear someone scream
I see Austin running towards me
I took out my sword and started fighting the person who attacked me after Austin caught up.
I couldn't land a single attack on the person!!
I was trapped by a tree behind me and the stranger in front of me
My sword was on the other side of the field
"Goodbye...princess..." the stranger says
Austin came running towards me the last second
The stranger stabbed Austin instead of me...
I took austins weapon and quickly stabbed the stranger
I bent down towards Austin...
"Austin...wake up...please...DONT LEAVE ME!! AUSTINNNNN!" I screamed out crying
"Kit..." I hear
"Who's there?!" I say full of anger
"Wake up..." I hear repeatedly
After nightmare
(Still in flashback/backstory/whatever)
I woke up immediately
Crying
"Austin he's okay?!?" I asked
I see him next to me
"I'm right here...don't worry.. he says holding me in a tight embrace
I hugged him back
"Don't leave me...all alone..." I say sobbing
"I won't...shhh...I'll sleep with you and protect you from the bad dreams..." he says
He chuckles and smiles
"I'll always be your Prince Charming...to protect you...forever!" Austin says hugging me tighter
"Promise?" I asked
"Promise...cross my heart..." he says
We both went to sleep next to each other
(Reality)
What made him change
He broke his promise
I cried harder
I felt someone watching me but I didn't care anymore
If they killed me
I can care less
Everyone here is happier anyways
