Chapter 4

Friday morning

Austins pov

I invited my exs dad for dinner
I need to tell everyone
I feel so bad for him
I hate Kit!
If it wasn't for her existence then I wouldn't have left her...
Nicole...
The love of my life and I had to break up with her!
"Breakfast is ready!" I hear flora say
We all gather around the table and sit
I sat next to kit ignoring her as usual

"Umm excuse me..." I say
Everyone looks up at me
"I invited Nicoles father to join us for dinner tonight. I hope you don't mind. " Austin says
"Of course we don't! You're like our son Austin" the king says
I turned to kit and saw her face
I saw fear
I felt bad for a second but then I went back to eating
"Austin can I speak to you privately for a minute please" kit says silently
"Sure I guess" I say
We get up excusing ourselves
We go to the next room
"Austin... Nicoles father hates me... he threatened revenge on me so please...cancel the invitation" she ask silently
"He deserves to hate you kit. You ruin everyone lives" I say
I look at her
She looked hurt and upset
I continued
"You deserve the pain. I hope his revenge is good. I wish you were never alive. You ruined my relationship with Nicole. All you think about is yourself! So I won't cancel the invitation for you" I say
She nods and walks away
I can tell she is really close to crying
I shrug it off

Later that night

Kits pov

I was hurt from Austin this morning
I shook it off
I felt scared and upset
Scared of what's going to happen
And upset over Austin

I go downstairs for dinner
Nicoles dad gave me a death glare
"I prepared a drink for your family
A toast to the new couple...
Kit and Austin..." Nicoles dad says giving me a death glare

"WAIT DONT DRINK IT! ITS POISONED!" I warned

Nicoles dad looks offended

"It's not poisoned...here I'll prove it to you" he says

He comes to me and takes my cup
He then drinks the liquid
I felt guilty
Austin gave me a death glare too.

"Here's some food I prepared as well." He says

"DONT EAT IT! HE PROBABLY DID SOMETHING WITH IT" I yelled

"KIT! THATS ENOUGH!" My father yelled

I sat back down

"You know what dear...please just go to your bedroom..." my mother said

"I can join you if you want" my sister said

I shook my head no and ran upstairs to my room

3rd person

Nicoles father thought to himself
"This is my chance!"

He said
"Excuse me but where's the restroom?" He asked

The king pointed up the stair

Nicoles father went up the stairs
Went to the bathroom and got a cup of water from the sink
He mixed a potion in it
Then knocked On Kits bedroom door

"Come in" she says

Nicoles father comes in

"Listen princess... I'm sorry for what I said in the forest. I was just angry...have some water...as forgiveness" Nicoles father says

Kit nodded

"You're forgiven" she says

She drinks the water and everything goes black
