Chapter 6 Go!

I skated as fast as I could. I wanted to be as far away as possible! I had no Idea​ where I was going. My Rollerskates took me somewhere. I was never closer to freedom. I was happy as I thought about that I have to get used to this. I mean nobody cares about me anyway. So I am going to be free for a long time. Let's see how it goes. I am planning on to make money of babysitting, or to take dogs for a walk. I would start working. I had to get my job soon since I was getting hungry but I had to use the money I had for a internet café to get me the jobs. So I skated to the next Internet café.

It was a bit far away but I made it. I made myself a profile on 5 different websites for dogsitting and babysitting. For one hour on the computer I only had to pay 5 euros. So I had some money left to buy me some food. I got myself a hamburger from burger king and some water. It is really cheap. I can live like this. I mean I don't want to eat hamburger everyday but for the beginning I am fine with it. Suddenly my phone was ringing. Who could that be? It was a number that I have never seen before. "Hello?" I asked. "Are you Lila?" "That's me. Why?" "Can you babysit tonight? My husband wants to take me out spontaniously, but I have no idea where to put my 4 year old boy. Can you help?" "Of course I can help!" "Perfect, should we bring him to your house?" "Ahh,no I will come to your house, anything I need to know?" "If he crys give him milk then he will stop. I will text you our address. Thank you! Good bye!"
"Bye!" I was excited, that went quite fast. I already had my first job. On the website I wrote 7 euros per hour. What if they stay like 4 hours? Or the whole night, you never know what could happen after one kiss😉. I hope I will be fine. Are 4 years old boys hard to calm down? I have no idea. I guess there only one way to find out. Money, here I come. I put on my Rollerskates again and started to skate around.

I was so ready for a new start. Things were going quite well right now. No kids bullying me. No Kylie. No mom. What a wonderful life.

I still couldn't believe what I did! Now I just had to figure out were to sleep. Maybe in Public toilets? Naah, to disgusting. I could buy myself a tent and a sleeping bag and sleep outside and it would look like I was camping. Yeah I like that idea. I remembered that we had a old tent in our garden and I decided to sneak into my house in the night to get the tent. But first I needed to go babysitting! I got my phone out that had 20% battery left and looked at the message that I got from the woman called: Luisa Mannyae. The street wasn't to far away I came there right in time. They had a nice house. It was white and big, it reminded me a bit if the antique greek houses. I found the doorbell right under the letterbox and pushed the button. I could here a loud "ding dong". A beautiful woman came out. She had long blonde hair, I could see that she straightens it, and that her hair is actually curly. It reminded me of my old hair, when it was still blond. I once straightened it with Kira it looked exactly the same. Now my hair was half blonde half red. My natural her was coming out again. But who cares. Mrs. Mannyae had a posh black dress on with big dangling earrings that were formed as a circle. "You must be Lila right?" Mrs. Mannyae said with a very calm but exited voice. "Yes" "Thank you again for comings so spontaniously." "It's okay." I answered. "We will be coming back in about 2-3 hours." "Okay, perfect!" "Mommy, please don't take to long!" A little boy said with white blonde hair and ice blue eyes, that reminded me of Kira. "Hello! I am Lila. I will be taking care of you in the while your parents are gone." I introduced myself to the little boy. I went down to his height, to seem more friendly. "Hello Lila, I am Lewis." He said. Gosh he was so cute. Like a little puppy. "Nice to meet you Lewis" As I said that a big smile turned up on his face. I think I made a good first impression. "Honey, are you coming?" Mrs. Mannyae shouted into her house. "Yes, I'm here." Mr. Mannyae said. He came to the door. He was half a head bigger than his wife. He had brown hair and ice blue eyes like his son. He wore a black suit with a dark red tie. He also looked quite posh."Can we go?" He asked Mrs.Mannyae. "Yes, of course. Bring Lewis to sleep at 7:30 pm." She said. "I will. Have fun you too." I answered. "Thank you, bye!" "Bye." Mr. and Mrs. Mannyae walked to their car. "Should we go inside?" I asked. Lewis didn't give a sound. He only nodded with his head. I told him things about me. And he about his self. He more and more trusted me. We really got along good. We decided to watch his favourite movie 'The Incredibles'. It was quite funny. At the end he fell a sleep and I carried him up to his bed. I stayed there and waited another hour for his parents to come back. In that while I plugged in my phone to charge it. When the parents came back I had 90% which was enough for the next day. They were really happy with me, taking good care of their child. They gave me 30 euros for 4 hours 2 euros extra! Cool right? I loved my job already.

It was cold. It was still winter! At least there was no snow. I opened my backpack and put on the jacket that I brought with me. Then I made my way off to my house. I saw a light inside the house my mom was home, she was drunk. Very drunk. She was dancing around in the living room. I quietly made my way to the garden house, opened it and took out the tent. I quickly skated away. Yes, I was still wearing my skates. I went to a field and build up the tent. It was harder then it normally looks like. Since I didn't have a sleeping bag yet, I used my backpack as a cushion and clothes as a blanket. I was cold, but I don't mind. In the morning, I packed it all together and skated to a shop near by that had a sleeping bag. It cost 8 euros, but i had enough money, since I babysitted the other night. I liked my life right now. I really felt free.
