Prologue

Kayaba Akhiko, the creator of SAO.

Seven years has passed since he controlled over the floating castle of the game. It's now 2031.

When the system of SAO shut down, It's primary AI: FAITH, created AI accounts from Real-world players.

Every movement of this Players were recorded and saved. After the destruction of SAO, FAITH recreated the game.

Kioko Akhiko, the son of Kayaba was wandering in their basement when he saw the NerveGear. He remembered the words used by his father to describe the game

It was rusty and old. With new technologies that brought it's end. NerveGear was a trend seven years ago but after the dreadful disaster which brought many players to death, it was seen as a death weapon, dangerous thing to use.

Kioko said to himself:
I wanna experience being in a game, like the players who cleared the game. By this, I can make myself stronger, in real life. I will learn how to fight and know how to defend. I will be better when I come back...

He grab the NerveGear and turned off the computer. The NerveGear is still working good, he even locked the system so no one will break through. Unless they remove the NerveGear. He wanted to experience the game, and finish it, himself. His father created an account for him, many years ago. But when Kayaba turned mad, he forbid Kioko from using the NerveGear.

He imagined what will be the look of the world and how will he feel? Many years died because of this game, but he took the risk.

It was five o'clock. And then a voice came to his mind. It was the words said before entering the game.

"Link Start", Kioko said.

Colors flashed before his eyes.

Hearing

Taste

those Senses came to view and also the Language. He need to log into the game.

I experienced them all and I was brought to a big town, the Town of Beginning.

I Inhaled the fresh air and it's cool Breeze, I turned around and saw some houses with NPCs talking to each other.

I noticed that there was a field and some Boar. I looked down to my hand and only gloves. I swiped my fingers on my right hand and a menu appeared(It was on the manual).

I went to the Town of Beginning.

There were still players who played the game, but these players were not the same. They were all AI. Except for two player: Kirito and Asuna because he brought Yui. Yui cleared all memory in the game that is involved to Kirito. Their party was cleared that results removing Asuna's memory in the game aslo.

Kioko did not know that he was playing with AI players.
