Most of the students left for the holidays but I didn't have a chance to say goodbye to Fred and give him his gift personally. He and his siblings had to leave around 1 in the morning because his dad had been attacked at his job at the ministry.
I was probably the only Gryffindor in my year left at hogwarts and I was incredibly lonely so I headed to the dungeons in such for my twin and cousin.
I stand in-front if the portrait and ask to get my brother. The portrait rolls his eyes and leaves a few seconds later the portrait swings open revealing my brother.
"About time. I was wondering when you'd die of boredom." He smirks and lets me in.
We walk over to the couches where Draco already is, twirling his wand in his hand like a drumstick.
"Ryan. You owe me 2 gallons. She didn't last until lunch (noon)." Draco smirks triumphantly.
"You couldn't have just waited an hour." Ryan sighs giving the money to Draco.
"You bet in my loneliness." I say in disbelief.
"What it's tradition," Draco says.
"What?!"
"Nice going twat." Ryan says and hits Draco in the arm.
Draco grumbles and rubs his arm. We sit and talk for an hour before lunch. We then go back to the Slytherin common room and do some of our homework for the holidays.
We do this Routine for the rest of the break with the exception of Christmas.
It was nothing to grand or exciting considering we were still at school but we made the most of it. I slept in the Slytherin common room, in Theo's bed and meet Draco and Ryan in the common room at 8 am to open gifts. We then went to breakfest and we received more gifts from friends through the post. We then spent some time to ourselves and met back up for dinner. We then sat around the fire in the Slytherin common room talking for the rest of the night.
The most interesting gift I got was from remus. It was a letter and a small package. The letter read:
Dear Juliet,
I don't know if you'll read this but I really hope you do. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you growing up. There is no reason I should've left and all I can do is apologize. I want to make things better and get to know you better. I would like you to consider spending part of the summer with me, you could bring your brother with you as well, I'd like to get to know him better too. I hope you like your gift. It was your mother's.

I set his letter aside, I would respond later. I move to the package and open it. It's an infinity ring (pic below)
