Juliet

Spending the Summer with Izy and Remus was crazy, and exciting, and different, in a good way. The house seemed brighter and more comfortable than that of Malfoy Manor and I didn't feel like I was walking on eggshells. Of course on the nights of a full moon Izy and I stayed over friends houses. She went to the Burrow while I went to Dallas's house.

For the first time in a long time I enjoyed summer. I was free, and somewhat careless. Dallas, Ace, Bailey, and I would just go and explore around Bailey's house, he lived by a forest. When I told them about Fred and I's breakup Dallas and Bailey was bent on marching over to the Burrow and giving Fred a piece of their mind. I tried to reassure them it was a mutual breakup but it just went in one ear and out the other.

Although the Summer was probably the best of my life I was looking forward to school. Remus, Izy, and Tonks all accompanied me to the train. I spotted the Weasleys as I went passed and noticed Fred was there, his arm around a strawberry blonde. I recognized her from school. Her name is Sophia Butler, a ravenclaw around Fred's age. As much as the sight upset me I knew Sophia was a great person and that her and I could tell Fred was happy.

Izy caught me looking and pulled me along. "J I know it hurts but you'll find someone else too."

"I know," I say after taking a deep breathe.

The train's whistle blows as I bid Remus and Tonks a goodbye. I still don't feel comfortable calling Remus dad yet but we're getting there. And though Tonks isn't my mom she's as good as I can get. I say goodbye to Izy last pulling her in for a hug and whispering, "At least one of us should get out Weasley. Go and get Charlie."

I notice her face turn a dark shade of red as I pull away. I smirk and board the train. I make my way to the compartment I have been in since 1st year and see all my friends in there. I hug Bailey before I sit down in between Dallas and Bailey with Sawyer on the other side of Bailey. Celene, Addie, and Theo across from us.

"I heard about Fred. I am so sorry," Theo says as she paints her nails a rather bright emerald.

"Yea. He's a jerk. This is why I always say don't date guys older than you while you're still in school." Sawyer adds.

"Guys. Knock it off and leave her alone." Dallas hisses.

"It's fine guys. Really I am fine." I state and fiddle with my thumbs.

There is an uncomfortable silence in the air until Celene blurts out, "Ok I know you're trying to be discrete but the tension is killing me so BALIYE BE A GOOD BOYFRIEND AND HOLD SAYERS HAND!"

"Celene!" Addie hisses.

Bailey's face is red as a tomato and Sawyer is having a staring contest with the ground.

"You two are dating?" Dallas questions.

"Yes." Bailey mumbles.

"For how long?" I ask.

"About a month or so," Sawyer shrugs.

"I mean I knew it was obvious but it's still nice to be informed." Theo adds.

"What do you mean you knew?" Sawyer questions.

"Oh it's obvious." Celine responds.

"No it wasn't!" Dallas exclaims.

"Oh please like you didn't see the longing glances they gave each other." Theo explains.

"Or how they hold hands under the table. Not to mention their moms are best friends and knew each other since diapers. I've known they were going to get together since first year. It was bound to happen." Cellen states.
