Phone Convo
"Why what's wrong" I said sitting up from the bed covering myself with the sheet
"Mom she had a heart attack be on your way to the hospital now" she said crying into the phone
I got up quickly putting on my underwear and my bra.
"What's wrong , why are you leaving" Grayson asked
"My mom she had a heart attack" I said wiping the tear From my face as I put my leggings and shirt
"Do you want me to come with you" he said getting up from his bed
"No it's fine gray" I said putting on my vans
"Call me if you need anything" he said hugging me and kissed my forehead
"Ok bye I love you" I said rushing out the door
I got in my jeep and drove right to the hospital.
At hospital
I park my car and I run through the emergency room doors and I see my sister sitting there crying.
"Hey is mom ok" I said as I sat down next to her
"No they wouldn't let me go back there with her"
I should've never left.
I knew she didn't look okay.
"Why are here anyway shouldn't you be at college" I asked her
"I'm on spring break so I decided I would come and surprise you guys when I walked inside the I saw mom on the floor." She said looking down
"Oh" I said looking down
"Have you talked to dad" she said looking at me
"No why should I talk to that peace of shit" I said rolling my eyes
"Because I talked to him and he said that he wanted us to meet up with so we can talk"
"I'm not talking to him , i don't even wanna look at him"
"Come on please"
"Fine but if he pisses me off I walking out" I said crossing my arms
20 minutes later
"Karen Adams" they called out
Me and Bailey got up and walked over to the doctor
"Are you guys her family members"
"Yes we're her daughters , is she ok" bailey said
"Well we found out she has leukemia and she's in bad condition right now"
(A/n: for people who don't what leukemia is a type of cancer that the blood-tissues hinders the body to fight the infection)
What stage is she" I asked as I can feel the tears building up in my eyes
"She's a stage 2" the doctor said
"Can we see her please"bailey asked
"We are still running tests so you can't see her right now you can come back tomorrow" she said
"Ok thank you" I said wiping the tear from my eyes
*At home*
I walked in the house and I went up to my room put my keys and phone on my bed I walked into the bathroom and ran some bath water. I stripped from my clothes and sat in the warm water.
I started to break down in tears.
