I was sitting in my room in the dark thinking about what my mom told Grayson and I , my phone buzzed and I saw that it was Leah.

Leah😊: Hey E, i know we haven't talked in a min just checking to see if your ok ?, Kinda worried
Me: Yeah, I'm actually not ok my mom called and told me my dad has cancer...
Leah😊: Omg I'm sorry to hear is there anything i can do ?
Me: Not at the moment i just want some alone to myself...
Leah😊: Are you sure, I can come over and we can come over ?
Me: Yeah I'm sure thanks for asking :)
Leah P.O.V
I knew Ethan wasn't ok so I decided I would go over to dorm and check up on him anyways
*at Ethan's dorm*
I knock on his door, he opens up I can tell that he's been crying for days.
"What are you doing here , I told you not come"Ethan says as he's get's angry
"I know I just knew you weren't ok" -she says as Ethan interrupts her
"Were not even dating , why do you care about me so much !!" he yells
"Well it's because I like you a lot and I want us to work" she yells as her voice cracks
"Listen I'm sorry, I'm just taking the situation with my dad very hard"
"Well you know I'm here if you need anything"
they both lean in for long hug.
Brooke's P.O.V
I've been staying with Gray in his dorm room to keep him company since he told me the news about his dad , I feel really bad, most of the days he's feeling sad and down so usually we just chill and watch movies.
"Hey babe, can I ask you ask question?" I asked
"What's up? " he asked
"Have you talked to Ethan about the news" i ask curiously
"No not yet , i was actually gonna talk to him today" he said
"Well maybe you should talk to him" i suggested
Grays P.O.V

Me: Yo, how you feeling ?
Ethan🐢: i feel ok , i talk to mom and she suggested that maybe we should come back to jersey for a while.
Me: Yeah that's a good idea maybe you should tell Leah and I tell Brooke and see what they think.
Ethan🐢: Cool I'll text you the time we're leaving tomorrow.

"Hey babe , would you want to come to my parents house for a couple weeks ?"
"Yeah I'm down" she smiled
"Well get clothes from your dorm and come back here at 8 we leave early in the morning"

Brooke P.O.V
I could tell that Grayson was worried about seeing his dad and I knew I was going to have to be there to comfort him through his time being back in Jersey.
I walked over to him as he put his clothes in his bag.
"Gray is everything ok" I started rubbing his back
"Yeah I'm jus thinking about my dad" he said as continued packing his clothes
"You know I'm here for you through the situation with your dad" i said hugging him from behind
He turns around and kisses me on the forehead.
As he continued packing, I asked "So what are you and E going to do when you guys get there ?"
"I don't know maybe just visit him at the hospital" i said shrugging my shoulders
We went to the car and saw Ethan and Leah waiting , she was also coming to make sure Ethan was ok.
"Hey guys" I said as I walked up to the car
I went to go hug Ethan and Leah.
"You guys ready ?" i asked
We all hopped in the car and Grayson got in the drivers while Ethan and Leah were in the back i could tell that he was nervous, i stared at him as he drove.
I took his hand and kissed it and he looked at me and gave me a smile.
I'm gonna love him always.
