1. People marching
A sea of faces
People with different backgrounds
All March for a cause
5. Heads held high
Signs held high
All March for one cause
One cause that could shatter the norms of society
10. "We want rights!"
They shout while blocking the streets as others stand on the sidewalks
Silent and astonished of their movement
Scared of what will happen next
15. Police cars show up
Protesters stand their ground
Out came the tear gas
People scrambled like eggs on a hot skillet
Bystanders witness the horror of what the people who protect you can do to keep the peace.
22. Streets lay silent that evening
Police at the station doing their duties while protesters remain silent in their cells, even if they knew what they did was civilized to them, but astonishing to others
27. Their courageous acts continued until change came
People thought of the protesters that day and praised them for their courageous efforts and their rights became known.
