(YN)'s POV

As soon as I was ready I left the hospital, Lizzie took me and Lacey to our hotel. When we arrived in the car I put on my "Shutting Out the World" playlist. When I did that, "Lies" by Marina and the Diamonds came on. Every few seconds, I would close my eyes and take deep breaths. 

Once we entered Hilton,  Lacey and I went inside our room. I slowly opened our door and took in the room that sheltered me and my best friend from our adoptive parents. After maybe a hour, Lacey and I were done packing our needs. After we were done packing, we left the now-abandoned room. Subsequently, we returned the hotel keys.

During the time we were driving back to the airport, I decided to take a look at the photos I took at our time in Los Angeles. There were at least 200 photos. I smiled at each one of them especially the one of Lacey, and I. Every time I looked up from my phone, I saw Lizzie smiling at me from the passenger seat and every time I smiled back. When I was done reviewing my photos we reached the Los Angeles International Airport.

We all got out of the car and took out our bags. Lace carried a few of my bags and mum did too. In return I gave them a small smile. Soon we were on the plane heading towards England.

~In England~

When we arrived home I put on an Imagine Dragons playlist, the same band that I put on when we were leaving to California. 

"(YN)?" my mum called.

"Yeah?"I answered taking out my Apple headphones.

"So, you said you and Lacey were best friends with Lacey, right? Well, if it's okay with you, I was thinking of adopting her too." mum replied.

"What?! Of course it's okay! We'd be sisters!" I exclaimed as I hugged my beloved mum and pulled Joel, and Lacey in the affection.

After a few more minutes of the hugging, I pulled away and the affection broke. I slowly picked up my luggage and headed towards the house and every one mimicked my action. While I was waiting for them I settled to listen to Imagine Dragons' "Demons". As I was listening to it I sang to the song. I guess I sang loudly at "Your eyes they shine so bright, I wanna save that light. I can't escape this now, unless you show me how" because Lizzie started to look at me. I felt my blood rush to my cheeks because I never sang in front of anyone besides Lacey.

When we had everything, Joel unlocked the house and carried my bags to my room. I thanked him for it and followed him to put my other bags in my neglected room. 

When we were done unpacking everything it was already around 1 am. 

"Night, guys," yawned my mum.

"Night!" Lacey and I yelled as Lizzie was walking down the hall.

I was glad that everything ended. No bad things would happen to us again, right?
