As we're grabbed I quickly conjure up a breeze, hoping to fly everyone away, but I only have enough time to make a breeze that barely carries me, much less everyone else. I don't dare return, and instead take my breeze away, far away. I watch as Leila takes everyone else inside, but after they go inside I look around. I know not everyone has been captured, some people are still left. The people who weren't with me. I watch something else go through the door, but only out of the corner of my eye.

Please say there's somebody else out here, I think to myself, not wanting to be all alone.

I bring my breeze down to the ground, careful to not bring too much attention to myself, thus attracting the dragon, a creature who I haven't had the best relationship with. I don't think hitting someone with a lightning bolt makes you friends.

"Nari," I quickly turn around, seeing a beckoning hand go around a corner. I get rid of my breeze and get ready to make it hail, just in case. I walk around the corner, ready to drop the hail at any moment, when I see Ivy. She escaped! Somebody else is with her though. Two someone elses, one of them Ginger. I walk another step forward and recognize the other person as she steps out of the shadows. It's Kendall. I cautiously walk up to them, in case it's a trap, and they walk over to me.

"Who's free?" Ivy asks worriedly.

"Me, you, Kendall, Ginger, and maybe someone else. I saw Snapdragon, Lily, and Ally get captured and Lana's been captured for a while. I barely got away in fact,"

"Okay, Jade, Daisy, and Holly are supposed to be taking care of that," Kendall says. "So all we have to worry about is reclaiming the throne." I nod.

"Any ideas?"

"We were thinking of capturing Leila or her children, and using one or the other as leverage," Kendall says.

"But," Ivy adds. "Leila's heart isn't exactly in her body so we'll have to capture Leila."

"Easier said than done," Kendall grumbles.

"That's a good plan. How are you going to do that?" I ask. Nobody says anything. "That might be the next step in our plan."

"Duh," Kendall says in a I'm-older-than-you-so-this-is-obvious voice. I roll my eyes.

"But seriously, how are we—"

I look at Ivy. I smile as I plan begins to form.

"No," Ivy says, "if you're thinking what I think you are..." she trails off

"You're bait," I announce.

"Fuck. Knew it," she mutters.

"Come on, Ivy. You won't actually be in danger," I urge her.

"Fine," she grumbles. "But you owe me!"

"What do I do?" Kendall butts in.

"You help me," I say, smirking. "But we'll work out the details tonight, and we can just sleep in this alley."

The plan is set. Ivy's out in the open, and while Leila's distracted with that Kendall will zip in and steal the dust, and I'll make sure the plan works and do my own little special part. To be specific, out in the open means in the outskirts of town, while Kendall hides behind a tree and I hide at the top of a tree.

I take the spyglass that I use for watching weather from afar, and aim it at the palace cloud. I watch as Leila steps out of the door and I give a signal to Kendall, who's been watching me for the signal. She gets ready to run and sends Ivy the signal. I watch as Leila's face goes from bored to one that a little kid opening birthday presents would wear. She flies down silently, and Ivy pretends not to notice her. I begin to watch Kendall, who narrows her eyes as she stands in a running stance. Leila stands behind Ivy, about to grab her, when a sudden flash zooms by, which I know to be Kendall. Leila doesn't notice and grabs Ivy, who pretends to be scared and resists, although I think she could've resisted more and she still not have been able to escape. Leila reaches over to where the dust was when she gives a look of surprise. Now it's time for my part. Today is cloudy. Why does that matter? There's going to be lightning. Why does that matter? One of those lightning bolts is going to hit Leila. Anyway, I hold my hands out, careful to make sure I'm balanced in my tree, and quickly point from the cloud to Leila, directing my lightning bolt. She shrieks and lets go of Ivy as the bolt shocks her. Ivy charges over to Kendall and takes the dust, not putting it back into her hair because it's actually Evie's. Leila charges at us, but Ivy throws some dust at Leila, and Leila is trapped in a bubble thing. We all high five and Leila screams. Sort of. The bubble is soundproof so we and her twins can't hear her.

"Now what?" Kendall asks me.

"Now we go save the planet, duh!" Ivy answers for me jokingly.

Kendall rolls her eyes, "Details," she says dryly.

"We go to the palace, I take the dust from the bitches—I mean my cousins—we restrain them, we lock them in the dungeon," Ivy says. "Easy peasy."

"Easier said than done," I grumble.

Ivy brings out her wings and begins to fly up to the palace, levitating Leila's bubble with her. Kendall quickly jumps into the air and follows Ivy and I follow behind on a breeze.

"This is almost too easy," I mutter to myself, expecting the dragon to follow us.

"DRAGON!" Kendall screams.

I duck as the dragon zooms over me, having already seen different targets in the form of Kendall and Ivy. I grab my knife and take my breeze over to the dragon, stabbing the knife deeply into the dragon's back. It roars in pain and begins to tumble to the ground. I send a strong wind toward the dragon which knocks it over to the outskirts of town, where it hopefully won't cause trouble.

"All clear!" I call up to the front.

We continue onward (although it's less dramatic than it sounds) and soon approach the palace. I land on the cloud beside the others and we take a second to stare up at the palace as we remember all the great times we had there (sarcasm intended).

"Let's get this over with," Ivy says, interrupting the silence. ("I'm going to kill you," Leila mouths from inside her bubble.) We slowly approach the door and Ivy carefully pushes it open, making no sound. She consults her book, (which she made a bag for while she and Kendall were waiting for me) and mutters "dammit" to herself.

"I can't see what Cassandra or Emira is doing through their eyes," Ivy whispers. "That would make this a lot easier."

"When was the last time anything was easy?" I hiss back. "Oh right, that was before Lily got the stupid as fuck idea to go to the palace and almost kill us. I'm still pretty pissed at her for that. I guess it paid off though."

"Anyway, I'm thinking they're somewhere in the dungeon so I'm gonna open that door and slowly levitate their dust away," Ivy says.

Kendall and I nod. Ivy slowly walks over to the door but stops. She begins to look up at her mother's painting. We all shoot up and look at Evie. Ivy touches the painting, as if Evie could reach out and touch her. ("You idiots are so easily distracted," Leila mouths from inside her bubble.)

"Mom, I'm gonna get you out of there," she whispers before shooting a glare at Leila, while her eyes fill with tears. "And you'll pay for this!"

Leila rolls her eyes from inside her bubble as we descend from painting level. Ivy moves her hands this way and that, clearly knowing what she's doing, as the twins' panic can be clearly heard. Ivy begins to quickly jerk her hands toward us and the dust flies out the door and over to her. She puts that dust in her hair and puts some in Ginger's fur, because it actually is theirs and the twins stop in their tracks.

"What. Did. You. Do?" Cassandra demands, speaking one word at a time. Ivy ignores the question as she levitates the twins up and makes a hole in the top of Leila's bubble. She drops the twins in and closes the bubble, just as the twins register exactly what happened. They yell at us, glaring, but we can't hear them. Instead, we high five before venturing inside the dungeon. I ignore all the bloodstained cells beside me as we continue through the dungeon, each cell getting worse and worse. Ivy hugs Ginger for comfort and Kendall tries to act unfazed. We slowly approach the door at the end, and it's clear what's behind it.

"They left!?"

"How are we going to get out though?"

"I don't know!"

"Are we going to die of starvation?"

"No," we open the door and the chattering stops almost at once.

"Ivy? Nari? Kendall? Ginger?" Lily, Lana, Ally, Holly, Snapdragon, Jade, and Daisy look up at us. I look at the things they're attached to. Guillotines? How insane can you get? We begin to free people but we hear a loud *pop*.

"Shit! The bubble! I forgot about it!" Ivy hisses, running off. We all chase after her to find Leila, Cassandra, and Emira out of the bubble. Leila takes out a little machine, and everything goes black.

"No," Ivy says. It's all I hear anyone say, and afterwards I become unconscious.
