Kaito States No Need To Address Gay Rumor Questions and FORECAST Reveals 5UN's Close Relationship With F.O.X

FORECAST had a live radio interview yesterday at 12PM KST on "Behind The Idol" with show host SUJI. "Behind The Idol" is a popular radio show that often has special guest idols that discuss behind the scenes information about their new music or careers, especially those that are hot topic of the time. FORECAST, although rookies, have been recently treated like big idols with one of their member's first scandal.

Kaito's possible romantic relationship with KSTM model Shin Wonho has lead to furious discussion online, obviously a focus of what fans wanted to learn about. Below is a transcript of some of the questions.

SUJI: And next, of course Kaito, we've gotta talk about your relationship with Shin Wonho.

KAITO: Hah, already? We just finished introductions.

SUJI: Of course, this is "Behind The Idol". So, after seeing those revealed photos from your recent visit to KSTM, many are interpreting those photos as a representation of something going on between you two.

KAITO: Yeah, "something" was going on. We're friends - we tied each others ties and had fun taking photos. Is there something scandalous about that?

[note: Kaito's voice was sarcastic and a bit frustrated.]

SUJI: I'm simply stating some rumors that are going around online and-

KAITO: Rumors. That's all they are. Trying to bend the truth to just to create news is a disgusting move.

[note: There was a moment of silence.]

KAITO: I'm just saying. You can believe whatever you want for fun, but don't try to bring it into our careers. It's not fair to push down our group just because some anti-fan exposed some unreleased photos of one member.

SUJI: Very good point.

KAITO: I would also greatly appreciate is society would stop discrimination against those who are "presumed gay". If an idol has a scandal with someone of the opposite gender, that's all it is, a scandal. If an idol is somehow possibly homosexual, others throwing on the possibility of a dating scandal, what do we get?

HYUNWOO: I agree, and there really is no point in any of this discrimination.

5UN: And we don't mean only the shows that are rumored to deny us screen time or only the fans that have vowed to stop supporting us. We're talking worldwide - and on a smaller scale, South Korea.

SUJI: Understood, so Kaito, you confirm that you are, in no way, dating or in a romantic relationship with Shin Wonho?

KAITO: I'm not confirming nor denying anything because I don't think that's necessary.

SUJI: So it is left up to the listener's imagination?

KAITO: I don't believe rumors need my input to be be confirmed or denied. They're simply rumors.

[note: A slight pause.]

SUJI: Alright, then we'll leave it off here. I apologize for any frustration I have caused, I just want to help you get your answers to the listeners.

KAITO: Understood, thank you.

SUJI: Moving onto the oldest and leader of the group, 5UN, you are a song writer, correct?

5UN: Yes, I wrote a lot of compositions before debut and worked with the others for our debut album.

SUJI: You must know then that F.O.X referenced you as the trainee he was closest to during an interview after the trainee fair. He stated you often write songs together, is this true?

5UN: Yes, we both spend a large portion of our time making and writing music.

SUJI: May I ask, did he help you compose the song that you performed during the trainee fair?

5UN: "Lead Me"? No, that was one of the songs I wrote without him. Probably one of the only ones, haha... I didn't let him hear it all since it was dedicated to him.

SUJI: So the "special person" the song was dedicated to was in fact F.O.X?

5UN: Uh, yep, it was for F.O.X sunbaenim.

SUJI: You seem a little hesitant to say that.

[note: A few members of FORECAST laughed quietly.]

KAITO: That interview also touched on the closeness of C.S artists, right? I think Taeyang's just trying to be safe, but we usually aren't as formal with the people we're close with at the company.

SUJI: Oh, so you don't call him F.O.X? His birth name is Seo Woojin, correct?

5UN: Yes, we... or ah, I, address him as Woojin hyung.

SUJI: Oh, so you drop the stage name and "sunbaenim"?

5UN: Right...

CHEN: And I think that's really cool, it shows how close they are. They write songs together a lot and spend a ton of time creating genius music.

SUJI: So you still call him sunbaenim?

CHEN: Of course, he's always looking out for us honestly more than just a brother. He's a huge mentor.

KAITO: Like he said in his interview - like our father figure in a way.

HYUNWOO: Yeah, he's always looking out for us. We usually are on that end of the help while Taeyang hyung works a lot with F.O.X sunbaenim aside from just him giving us advice for our debut.

SUJI: I heard R41N also participated in working on the album and is writing songs too. Do you have a close relationship with F.O.X?

R41N: Hm? Not particularly. I write a lot of lyrics on my own and work with the producers to put them into a song.

SUJI: Oh, then I'm sure listeners are curious to know about your unique relationship with F.O.X, 5UN, as well as the process you two have both been going through to write songs.
