F.O.X Denies Allegations of Relationship With FORECAST's 5UN

On yesterday's live radio show "Behind The Idol", host SUJI asked F.O.X a plethora of questions regarding the recent FORECAST V Live and rumors spouting from it.

The V Live, which was streamed on F.O.X's birthday, May 18th, is currently deleted off of FORECAST's channel. A clip has been posted on YouTube and is spreading across other websites. Due to the influx of questions live as well as preadded just hours prior, more than half of the interview was about the scandal. Below is the transcript of some interesting clips.

SUJI: Recently a clip of FORECAST's live stream found its way online and has people talking, especially since the original video is no longer public. Evidence of a possible relationship between you and FORECAST's 5UN is causing some online anger. Would you like to describe the video if anyone has not seen it already?

F.O.X: Huh, who hasn't seen it already?

SUJI: Good point. So because a huge amount of these fan questions are about the alleged relationship, I'll let you go ahead and talk about the scandal in general.

F.O.X: Greatly appreciated. The video and rumors about it have been blown greatly out of proportion. I hope that listeners will understand the situation, although it is ordinary. 5UN and I are very good friends and have worked together at C.S for years now. We were simply joking around, and the context of the situation was definitely not evident in the clip.

SUJI: Understood, could you explain more about the context then?

F.O.X: It sounds frivolous, but we were acting out some lyrics of a song we received to edit. I can't reveal the song, but the lyrics described something that we both assumed wouldn't be romantic at all. I'll be completely honest, I cannot deny that the position wasn't appropriate, but allegations harming both of our careers regarding a relationship are making the situation a lot more of an issue than it should be.

SUJI: Do you tend to do things like this with other friends.

F.O.X: Yes, I tend to joke around a lot. It's simply my personality.

SUJI: Do you have any names you could say to put fans' minds at rest?

F.O.X: Not many others are big names, just simply personal friends.

SUJI: Do you have any information as of why the V Live was taken down if this is simply a misinterpreted situation?

F.O.X: I do not.

SUJI: Did the company take down the video?

F.O.X: I do not have much knowledge about the V Live or how it was taken down.

SUJI: FORECAST is not able to perform on Music Trophy due to Kaito's past rumors with a male KSTM model. They haven't said anything about 5UN's situation, but many are saying they'd treat it the same way. What's your opinion on their ban?

F.O.X: I think it is disgraceful that they think they can discriminate a music artist like that. Although I see where they are coming from, I personally believe they do not a responsibility to stop them from performing because of such a light-hearted scandal. It's not like they committed a crime.

SUJI: Due to the similarities in their reasoning for preventing FORECAST from performing on their show, how do you think they will react about your situation with 5UN.

(a pause)

F.O.X: I personally did not have a great impression of the program before FORECAST's situation, mostly due to the AJK and KINGS bans.

SUJI: I remember, you've collaborated with AJK before. Do you know a lot about his experience?

F.O.X: It's been a while, but I can easily see why he was frustrated with the show.

SUJI: You plan to have a digital single in the next few months, correct? So would you perform on Music Trophy if they did not place a ban on you promoting the song?

F.O.X: I have not talked to my company or promotion managers about that yet.

SUJI: If you had to decide now, however. Would you perform on Music Trophy? It's alright, relax a bit and just tell us how you feel. This is "Behind The Idol".

F.O.X: Hah, alright, it's pretty obvious they're going to ban me. What am I supposed to say?

SUJI: You think so? Even after you've cleared all this up?

F.O.X: Do you think simply telling everyone that it was a friendly joke will stop them? That's exactly what Kaito did, and they're still off Music Trophy.

SUJI: However Kaito never denied a romantic relationship between him and Wonho. This is likely why Music Trophy isn't letting them back on - because it is still a big possibility. You-

F.O.X: Did I ever deny a relationship with Taeyang?

SUJI: I mean a romantic relationship with 5UN.

F.O.X: Did I ever deny a romantic relationship with him?

(a pause)

SUJI: ...I suppose not.

F.O.X: When AJK was banned from Music Trophy, it took two weeks after his co-interview with Min Youngae for him to be invited back.

SUJI: So do you plan to have an interview with 5UN to clear up the mess.

(a pause)

F.O.X: ...I don't think that's necessary.

SUJI: Why not?

F.O.X: FORECAST is already very busy with their comeback scheduled for tomorrow.

SUJI: So are you planning to let the rumors simmer out like Kaito?

F.O.X: I guess you could say that.

Many are wondering how Music Trophy will react to this new situation, whether F.O.X will personally choose not to perform there, and whether 5UN will make any comments on the issue. With the many upcoming interviews, many predict FORECAST will be faced with questions about their rumored relationships with other individuals.

Most importantly, how has F.O.X's "Behind The Idol" interview affected his and FORECAST's reputation, especially with F.O.X never explicitly denying any romantic relationship with 5UN. Like Kaito, does not denying the rumors make them true? It seems like it's left for the individual to decide until anything new is confirmed.
