FORECAST Leader 5UN Leaves FORECAST, Fans Blame Music Trophy

Today CS Entertainment official announced that FORECAST leader and songwriter 5UN will no longer continue with promotions of FORECAST with the other four members. CEO Kim Seo-Jun released the following statement:

"Although it is just the beginning of FORECAST's career, it is in all parties' best interests for us allow Im Taeyang to remove himself from the group and return to focus on his songwriter career." 

The statement alludes to the fact 5UN asked to leave the group on his own terms rather than the company forcing him to leave the group. However, many fans are blaming Music Trophy, believing 5UN felt pressured to leave the group to allow his group members to continue performing on the show. 

Upon the release of the confirmation of their relationship, or at least a confirmation of romantic interest, 5UN and F.O.X became a popular talk online and have received a variety of responses, including many negative comments. F.O.X even stated his recent single "Bebe" does not refer the particular scenario between a man and woman, hinting at their homosexual relationship moments before it was announced. 

5UN tweeted the following as soon as the statement of his removal from the group was released: 

"Thank you to all in the company that have gotten me this far, I am honestly disappointed that I was unable to stay to perform with FORECAST for longer than I have already. I know my group members can carry FORECAST to the top and I plan to stay with them with my support from the sidelines. Leaving the group was a decision I was not pressured into by anyone in the company. Rather I would like to focus on songwriting and provide my friends with the opportunities they deserve. I can only wish that everyone can simply respect my decision and remember that I will always be with FORECAST, even if it isn't on stage." 

Some fans are decoding the segment "...provide my friends with opportunities" to mean he left the group to allow them to perform on Music Trophy, while others believe he means he will focus on songwriting for the group. It was never specified whether 5UN would be writing for FORECAST or not, but sources hint that it is likely. The last sentence 5UN writes could possibly confirm this. 

Music Trophy has yet to make a statement regarding FORECAST's ban after 5UN's departure from the group. The show has also not lifted F.O.X's recent ban from the show either.

On FORECAST's group SMS accounts, the group released the following message: 

"We love Taeyang and completely respect his decision to leave the group. There are no hard feelings regarding his departure and we not only wish him the best of luck on his songwriting but also plan to support him fully within the company. Taeyang has not left us, and his talent will not be wasted behind the scenes. Fans have not lost their sun either, and FORECAST will continue to improve with everyone's help." 

Although many fans are going through various emotions and expressing them through many communication outlets, almost everyone is impatiently waiting for Music Trophy to release a statement about the ban.
