Over the next few days, I had realized that nothing was happening in the arena...

No deaths, no people roaming around, no nothing.

It was strange and extremely creepy.

I tried my best to keep calm and think about what was going on, but something wasn't right.

If Caleb had teamed up with the careers, then why weren't the cannons going off and the pictures of the tributes in the sky?

I didn't get a good feeling and I knew that something was going to happen.

The head gamemaker would grow tired of nothing going on and then all heck would break loose.

In a way, I wondered if Caleb knew this and was waiting for all heck to break loose.

My water-proof hammock was wonderful and I was seriously glad that it was sent to me.

It had come in handy these past few days.

I had watched tributes gather water and never notice me  a bit--It was fantastic!

Evetually though, I came back up.

Almost all of the tributes were alive and this was definitely not good in the game makers' head.

I wondered how it would all go down....How it would all happen.

My curiosity and quietness was short-lived by the sound of a cannon going off.

I looked around, wondering where the tribute was, but knew that they could be anywhere in this place.

After a few minutes, I began walking.

Slowly and cautiously, I made my way through the forest and deeper into the woods.

I froze in my spot as another cannon went off, followed by another.

What was going on?

That was three in less than ten minutes!

Panic was starting to rise inside of me and I wondered where in the world Caleb and his career friends were.

Being from district four, even I was considered a career, but I never went to the training facility.....I never set foot on that property.

Suddenly the air got heavy and I could tell it was all about to go down.

Two more cannons went off at the same time, making the sound even louder.

I looked around and quickly started sprinting towards my water hammock

Safety and life were th two things writting across my forehead at the moment.

My heart was pounding and I could almost feel the adreneline pumping through my veins.

As much as I wished for all of this to be a nightmare, it was too real to even think about having a bad dream.

I wasn't having a bad dream, I was living that bad dream!!!

As I reached the water, the voice that had been imprinted upon my brain came out of nowhere.

"Feather, Feather, Feather...." Caleb cooed as I jerked around to face him.

He was alone, too vulnerable.

One of my daggers was in my boot, the other was hidden on my side and the third one was behind my back.

He took a step closer and I stood my ground, wondering how the heck I'd make it out of this mess alive.
