"Uhm, hey Alpha." I casually voiced out, trying to at least ease the tension that continuously keeps on rising every second. Shifting on both my feet, I glanced at Gabriel who still had on his smug smirk that I so wanted to just smack off of his face. Feeling irritated at him, I jabbed his stomach hard, earning a loud pained groan from him.

"Jesus, woman! I've only just met you and you're already so violent to me. I wonder how further you'll go deeper into our relationship." Gabriel started to dramatically rub the spot where I jabbed him,"You kinky, little kitten."

My eyes widened as I processed his words as I heard Aries growl furiously at Gabriel. To say, Aries was angry was beyond an understatement. He was livid. His knuckles becoming deadly white from how hard he's been clenching, probably restraining himself from causing a severe damage on Gabriel. Gritted teeth from the effort to remain silent, his hunched form exuded an animosity that was like acid - burning, slicing, potent. His face was red with suppressed rage. I was utterly afraid for Gabriel's being.

I knew that if I didn't intervene in any second, Aries would show no mercy in beating Gabriel until he's sure that Gabriel's begging with every thing he as of left, so I did exactly what I had to do- stand in front of Gabriel as if to protect him from Aries' expected wrath. I know that I completely stand no chance against the most powerful Alphas of all but I had to at least try.

Fixating my focus on Aries' movements, noticing that he was now angrier than he was before and his eyes burning heatedly. I hadn't realized that I was holding tightly onto Gabriel's hand until I followed as to where his heated gaze was directed at but I still held Gabriel's hand tightly, maybe even tighter, just for some kind of assurance. I felt Gabriel shift behind me and from behind my shoulder.

"You know that you are literally in between two large male that could squish you easily," he sounded amused but I had absolutely no idea as to what was amusing about this whole thing. Although, I knew where he was coming from and agreed to that, what we should be thinking about was a way out of this mess.

"I suggest you take back your filthy hands, Beta before I rip them off of you." I had no doubt that Aries would gladly do it with no hesitation which made the both of us quickly let go of each other but what made me more surprised was the fact that the guy that I was actually enjoying my time with was more associated with him than I'd like. I turned my head to look at Gabriel and quickly gave him an accusing glare and gave him the look of 'you better explain it to me later,' then directed my gaze to him. A sudden disgust washed over me as my vision was filled with him. The air around us shifted more dangerously than before but I didn't care. I despised this sad, lonely man standing before us. I still feel the way his hands violently held tightly onto my neck with a determination that he didn't care about anything else but of himself, a determination that he had no weakness- not even his mate's life. He was utterly indestructible. Not even the thought of his other half dying could affect him, not even an ounce. He may have said sorry but life just doesn't work like that. Saying sorry is important, but not doing the same damn thing again is more important. He laid his hands on me more than once and killed my family with no remorse.

"Stop." Looking into his miserable eyes, I didn't mind that I was disrespecting him. Marching up to him with steps that carried underlining purpose and once I stood in front of him, I was filled with overwhelming emotions that made my heart crack at every second that passes by. I was looking at the man who only caused me invidious pain both mentally and physically. I didn't know if Gabriel was still behind me or not but to assure myself that he wouldn't be able to hear our conversation.
