Should Aries look like this instead of Nick Bateman?
After he left, I just let my tears fall down. My hands in my lap as his words repeat continuously in my head, hurting me even more. I shook my head then cupped my face, feeling the moisture of my eyes. A heavy sigh coming out of my mouth.
"Era, you have to be stronger than this. You can't let him get to you. No matter what he does, you will be strong." I told myself as I start to stand up. I headed towards the door and quietly made my way outside. My head looking back to the spot where I had mostly been rejected. I had hoped that we still could've worked but it was not going to happen any sooner. I headed outside, seeing the familiar surroundings. I didn't even know where I was going but I just let myself walk. It was enough time to think alone.
"Era, you have to leave him. He may torture us emotionally now but I have this feeling that his torturous ways would soon turn physical. I can't take the risks of losing you t-oo."
Hearing Ana break down made my heart shatter than it already was. I knew it was hard for her to let those words escape her mouth.
"Ana, I know." putting both of my shaky hands into my face, rubbing it slowly and softly, "I just have to have the right time. You have to trust me on this. I know that time is slowly closing to the day he will torture us physically."
"Just know that I will always be here with you. Don't cave into the mate bond. He will use it against us. I know he will. His wolf is trying to get in contact with me but I know that he is just like the human. No matter what he does, don't do it. Just know that I love you." I released my face from my hands and continued walking and thought of my escape away from here and him.
The sound of my light footsteps echoed throughout the empty dark narrow hallway. The silence somehow surprisingly calming me as I embrace myself tightly from the chill this hallway held. A mixture of the temperature and something so dark and terrifying. I had lost hope of ever escaping from him. It was undeniably impossible. The slight hope of ever getting my freedom hung loosely in my heart. My eyes wandering, memorizing every detail of the hallway, I soon came to stop by such dark alluring eyes that it sent strange tingles slowly down my spine. Standing there in his glory, dark clothing fitted him perfectly. His perfectly shaped jaw clenched, a slight stubble surrounding it. His lips so full, pink and slightly chapped but it was so inviting. Sucking in a deep breath as my eyes found his. I watched him cautiously as he came to me.
"What're you doing." The way he had said it, I knew I had to answer. It wasn't a question but a demand for an answer. Ready to tell him, I opened my mouth but no words seemed to escape my mouth. I quickly glanced down at my feet, my hands clasped together, fidgeting as nervousness filled my body. All I had to tell him was that I was lost but his presence held such power that I couldn't get any words to come out of my mouth. Feeling his intense gaze on me, I forced myself to look up.
"When I ask you a question, you answer." Though it was calm, anger and annoyance laced thickly on his words.
"I-I I was lost and I decided that I should at least explore." I coherently explained to him, still looking to his dark emotionless eyes, shivering as it darkened.
"Didn't I tell you to stay in that room? Didn't I say someone was coming to get you?"
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disobey your orders Alpha." I apologized ever so softly as I closed my eyes, not wanting to look into his angered eyes. Not hearing a reply from him, hoping that he would just disappear, I opened my eyes and a sudden gasp of surprise left my mouth. The look he was giving me was so intense that I felt that he could see every aspect of my soul, his eyes burning with something not out of anger, no, it was something else new that he had never shown and it terrified me. I watched him like a hawk as he walked closer, glued to my spot and soon he was so dangerously close in front of me. Bringing his large rough hands up towards my face, my heart beating so loud as he did ever so slowly. As he was about to cup my face, an unfamiliar voice came into our view.
"Alpha Aries." Looking at him, I noticed that how he was frozen to his spot, eyes widened as he realized what he was about to do earlier. He stood away from me and quickly gained his intimidating posture. Staggering back, I looked behind, finding that the unfamiliar voice belonged to an aging beautiful woman. Grey hair wrapped into a loose ponytail making her look so somewhat young. Wrinkles etched into her skin, wrinkles on her smile lines showing noticeably. Her warm blue eyes giving me comfort as it searches me. Lips painted in red, smiling widely that I knew I had to smile back.
"Alpha." she bowed, "What is it that you want?"
"Feed her." And left without another word as he left me confused about his previous actions.
