    A deafening silence filled the whole room as soon as I spoke. No one seemed to want to move from the uncomfortable tension. I looked at Gina and talked through her with my eyes. Nodding her head, she turned to Aries and bowed to him respectfully. I watched as she quickly went to Alaric's room. Once she was out of sight, I looked at Aries' appearance. His usual combed, neat jet-black hair looked as if it was run through numerous times. A white t-shirt and grey sweatpants fitted tightly to his muscular physique. Dark bags under his accusing eyes. All in all, he looked tired. Despite the bags under his eyes, he still looked like a beautiful ruler.

    Marching towards him, not caring for how ridiculous I look because there was no reason for me to be embarrassed. Glued to his spot, his brows furrowed in confusion. Approaching him, I looked up at him, I breathed out a heavy sigh

    "Why are you here?" I asked him softly, not wanting to start any more arguments.

    "No. Why are you here." His voice hard and accusing, eyes darker than usual. I wanted to back down but my inner pride was winning overpowering me.

    "You have no right to just barge in this house and start yelling. You can't do that!" I spat, poking his chest hard, "For once in a while, I became happy in this hell-hole! At least give me some freedom! Just a little bit of freedom to save my sanity." My once strong voice faltering on my last sentence. Stepping back, I lowered my gaze onto the wooden floor, not wanting to look at his expression.

    "What do you want me to do!?!" He angrily retorted. He turned away from me, raising his calloused hands to harshly rub his frustrated face.

    "Let me go." My request may have sounded easy but it clearly wasn't for him as he shook his head.

    "You know I can't do that!" My eyes were now digging through his skull as those words came out of his mouth.

    "You damn well could! All you've done is hurt me from the moment you set your eyes on me! Do you think that I would want to live my life with an abusive man? Do you think that I want to waste my time on you?!?" My eyes burning with anger. We were both now glaring at each other heatedly. Heaving out heavy pants, waiting for what he has to say. Moments had passed but neither of us said anything. Only our ragged breathings could be heard. He then said the sentence that made my anger towards him fueled more.

    "If you disrespect me like that one more time I'll-"

    "You'll what-huh?!? You'll choke me to death? You'll starve me? Treat me like a slave? Beat me to death? Rip my head out? Torture me?!? Tell me!" Angry tears were now falling down on my cheeks which I harshly wiped away, not wanting for him to see how vulnerable and weak I was. 

    "WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP!" His powerful authority was now surfacing but my mom raised no weakling so I continued. 

    "Why are you getting so infuriated? You might as well just kill me. I don't have any more to live for now, do I? You killed them, you monster! There aren't any more reasons for me to live and it's all because of you!" seeing his face turn, even more, darker made me want to continue, "I'm disrespecting you right now, right? Maybe you should just kill me right here, right now. Won't that satisfy you? Won't that make your life even easier?" Going closer to him until our chests were now touching. I grabbed his large hand that was curled into a fist and held it front of us.
