Ivan's POV
"Yo, my man" some guy said stopping me "big fan of the videos keep it up" he said
"Thanks" I smiled and started waking through the crowd of people. I looked towards the stairs and in the kitchen and she was nowhere to be found. I thought maybe she would come, I guess not.
"Hey" I said stopping Erika "do you know if Catalina is coming" I said
"Nah bro" she said barely standing straight
I kept looking but finally gave up and sat outside on one of the chairs we had. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and started going though my contacts. I looked up and down more than 10 times and then realizing I didn't even have her number. I proceeded to put my phone in my pocket and just stare at the people around.
Catalina's POV
11:30
I finally got home forgetting traffic at night was way worse. I helped Angie get her stuff inside and set them in our guest room. Everyone was asleep except for Angie and I obviously. That's when I decided to make a sneak out plan. Well not really a plan since I did it all through sophomore and junior year when I was in public school and got invited to high school parties.
I finally started getting ready putting on the white dress I had bought earlier. I put in a big shirt over it so I wouldn't drop any makeup on my white dress. I curled my hair, sprayed perfume, and put on some heels.
When I was satisfied on how I looked I opened my door slowly and checked the halls. The light was out. I took off my heels so I didn't make any noise and went down the stairs and out the door easily.
I got in my car and made my way to Tessa's party. I passed streets and stop lights smiling. I pulled up and parked in their driveway. There was barley any cars considering most people took Uber's.
I made my way to the front door and took a deep breath in. I opened the door and instantly two skinny arms wrapped around me and the smell of alcohol was defiantly present.
"Oh my god you made it Cat" Erika said
I hugged her back "yea, you seem like you've been having fun" I said laughing
"Lots" she said taking a drink of the red solo cup in her hand "drinks are over their girlie" she said pointing to the kitchen
"Alright" I said hugging her one last time.
I walked over to the kitchen and found Tessa. I covered her eyes and she quickly touched my hands and I felt her cheeks rise.
"You made it!!!" She said hugging me
"Couldn't miss my best friends party" I said grabbing the bottle of Smirnoff Ice she was giving me
I took almost half the bottle in one go since it was the only alcoholic drink that didn't make me gag. I talked to her for a while and decided to go find more friends.
I walked outside and stood In front of the pool and looked around. My eyes stopped at a certain person. It was Emilio or Ivan I couldn't tell at the moment. As I got closer I realized it was Ivan and pulled a chair next to his with the drink in my hand still.
He looked at it and looked at me, then he looked back at the bottle and raised an eyebrow at me.
"I didn't know you drank" he said taking the bottle from me and finishing it
"I didn't know you drank" I said mocking him and getting up to grab another 2 bottles from the cooler behind us. I handed him one and kept one myself
"So you came" he said taking a drink
"So I did" I said staring forward
"Did you sneak out?" He said finishing his drink
"You might wanna slow down" I said taking the first sip of mine "this one hits you at once if you don't take your time" I said
"Imma big boy" he said grabbing another
"And yes I did sneak out" I said
"Oo, snuck out to see me" he said smiling at me
"Yea sure, why not" I said giving him my bottle when I saw that all of his was gone
He just wiggles his eyebrows and took the whole bottle in one go. I just widened my eyes and shook my head laughing
"Ivan, I don't want you to be crazy drunk out here so I'm taking you to your room" I said
"Why, would i be drunk" he said standing up but stumbling a bit "what's in that? It taste like sprite" he said
"It's technically a beer" I said laughing
"Can I tell you something" he said
My heartbeat increased as I walked with him up the stairs. "Yea" i said
"I never drank a day in my life" he said laying down on his bed
"This is why you're like this right now" I said shutting the door and sitting next to him
He grabbed my hand and smiled at me. I blushed and smiled back at him.
"Hey, Catalina." He said "you're extremely pretty" he said caressing my face with his other hand
"I think you're pretty too" I said smiling at him
He threw his head back and laughed at what I had just said and then looked back at me. "I barley had any fun, if this is my first time drinking I wanna get crazy fucking drunk, but with you" he said
"Alright, hold on" I said
I went down the stairs and greeted some people who said hey to me. I grabbed the apple ciroc from the island in the kitchen and 2 red solo cups. I made my way upstairs and into Ivan's shared room.
"What's that" he said
"Stronger than Smirnoff" I said
I poured us a little bit and handed him his cup and he drank it right away and made a face.
"Woah, slow down speedy Gonzales" I said taking mine and making a face "God I hate Ciroc" I said
We kept drinking until we finished the bottle. I got up to use the bathroom and all the alcohol rushed down my body. I stumbled and could barely walk making Ivan laugh.
"I don't think I can go home" I said worried
"It's fine, just go home tomorrow" Ivan said forgetting that I had snuck out. Then realizing what he said he looked at me
"Yea" i said
"You can call an uber" he said
"My car" I said
As I said that I got a phone call from "mommy" my heart dropped and I answered on the last right
"Hello" i said trying to sound sober
"Catalina where are you, why aren't you home? No one can ever fall asleep in this house without you leaving can they? This is the reason we took you out of public school Catalina, but no your a party girl huh? You think that's cute? Well it's not! I need you him right now, I don't care how you're gonna get home since you're drunk but you're gonna need to find a way and I'm NOT picking you up" she said hanging up
I tested up a little. All this school year I've been the best I could for my mom since she had to take so much shit from me the two years before. I wiped my tears away remembering Ivan was in the room.
"Here I'll pay for your uber" he said pulling out his phone
"No, it's fine" I'll just get someone to drive me I said still wiping tears away
He hugged me and pulled me onto him. I hugged him back and I cried on shoulders. The got up because I noticed how embarrassing this is gonna be tomorrow. He got up with me and walked me out the house.
"I'm just gonna walk home, I need to think about stuff" I said walking away
