Chapter 11

Ivan's POV

"Let's go skate" Emilio said coming into the kitchen while I was eating my cereal

"When" I said with a mouthful

"Like at 7, Jake wants to take some pictures" he said looking at his phone "but I'm going to go to the grove, I don't know if you wanna come" he said

"Nah, I'm tired, Catalina's dad stressed me out yesterday at the gala" I said running my hand through my hair

"Wait, you met her parents?" He said

"Yea, her mom was so kind and her dad was all macho man but he was playing around" I said "I thought I was going to have a heart attack" I said holding my chest

"What a lame" he said laughing "I'll catch up with you later though"

I waved goodbye and continued scrolling through Instagram looking at all the pictures Catalina and Tessa posted from the gala. I like all of Catalina's and some of Tessa's. Why am I like this.

"Yea and then she said that she couldn't do a turn and I was like then why are you here" i heard Tessa say

"You did not, you're so mean Tessa" I heard Catalina's angelic voice say "oh, hey Ivan" she said

"Hey" I said looking at Tessa and giving her a look

"I always have to leave" she said making he way up the stairs

I smiled at Catalina and made my way to hug her, she just shook her bed and hugged me back. I could probably stay like this forever.

"Oh, so we're going out to eat dinner and my dad asked if you wanted to come" she said

"Sure, what time?" I asked

"7, we can pick you up" she said messing with my hair

"Ok" I said checking the time, 5:30, I have and you're and thirty minutes

"Want me to drop you off?" I said

"No, I brought my car but thanks" she said "I'll be right back" she said going up the stairs

I nodded and continued to scroll through Instagram. She came back in 5 minutes and kissed my cheeks and made her way out.

I ran upstairs and began showering.

Catalina's POV

"I'm home" I said as I entered my house

"Well hurry and get ready" my mom said from the living room

I walked in and saw them watching a movie cuddled up against each other. I made a face and they waved off.

I got in the shower, did my makeup, changed and all that. You know what I do to get ready. I went downstairs and saw my parents ready to leave. We finally left and started heading to the team 10 house.

I got out the vehicle and knocked on the door waiting for it to open. I smiled as Tessa's face appeared behind the door. She looked confused but finally opened it all the way

"If you invited me for dinner I completely forgot and I'm sorry" she said

"No, I'm here for Ivan" I blushed

She went wide eyes and looked as if she didn't know what to do.

"He went skating with Emilio just a couple of minutes ago" she said

I didn't know what to do or what to think. It may not seem like it's serious but it was brought for mh chest to start hurting and for me to feel embarrassment.

"Oh...well thank you Tessa" I said leaving

I got in the car and shut the door loudly interrupting my parents conversation. My mood was ruined and I wanted to cry. They both looked at me and continued driving as if they knew, well I'm pretty sure they did.

Ivan:
I am so so sorry

Catalina:
Ok..

Ivan:
I promise I'll make it up to you

Catalina:
Yea you can
But you can't make it up to my parents
Talk about a bad first impression

Ivan:
Look I'm sorry and I thought I already made a great first impression

Catalina:
Key word is thought
My dad didn't get to know you that well, and I guess he never will

I hesitated to send that last text but if this was gonna be something for real I didn't always want it to be this way and for it to be easily forgiven. I didn't get a text back, and I acted as if I didn't care. But deep down I wanted to go home and ball my eyes out.

Whattt?!? And update?? Lmao, tbh I've had this chapter written but I was too lazy to finish it. But since it's summer And i have nothing to do then expect a little more.
