Ivan's POV
Wednesday 4:00 pm
"SOO how was the date" I heard Jake say
"Good" I said continuing to make my sandwich
"Just good" he asked
"Oh we got free food" I said
"Wow, you guys might as well get married" he said "I don't know if you actually like her" he said
"What do you mean?" I said
"Like if I was you I'd be all over her but you're just coolin" he said
"I don't wanna annoy her" i said
"Annoy who" Tessa asked walking into the kitchen
"You're not gonna annoy her, Tessa's her best friend, and she's pretty annoying" Jake said teasing Tessa
"Hey, that's not nice, and Catalina is the coolest person ever, she doesn't get easily annoyed" she said grabbing a water "unless your name is Angie"
"Why Angie" I said
"Her cousin, she absolutely hates her" Tessa said sipping her water "last summer Jake threw a party and Catalina came without Angie and she called the cops and had the party shut down"
My eyes got wide
"But the worst part was that Catalina was out of it, she had been drinking and smoking weed" Tessa said "but I think she stopped doing all that because her mom took her out of school and she's being home schooled now"
"Wow that's crazy" I said
"Angie can go breaker her leg or something" Jake proceeded to say
"I think I'm going over today" I said "I haven't seen her since our date which was Sunday" I said
"We have dance at 4:30" Tessa said "you can pick her up at 5:30 though" she said
"Alright thanks Tessa" I said hugging her and going to my room
"Hey Ivan wanna go to the beach with us in a bit" Emilio asked me
"Can't, sorry" I said laying on my bed
"Why?" Anthony asked
"He's probably hanging out with Catalina" Chance said wiggling his eyebrows
"Really, didn't you just go to the beach with her Sunday" Emilio said annoyed
"Yo, chill Emilio let your brother get his girl" Anthony said
"Yea, we're not going to be together all the time Emilio" I said annoyed
"Whatever" Emilio said scrolling through his phone
Anthony and chance were laughing and I left the room before I got even more mad. I checked the time 4:19, I could pick Catalina and drop her off I thought to myself.
Ivan: hey, I can pick you up and drop you off at dance
I looked at my phone waiting for a reply and quickly got one.
Catalina: yea sure :)
But can we get food after?
Ivan: anything for you
Catalina: :))))
I smiled and got in The car the Jake lets me use. I drove to Catalina's house which was not far from the team 10 house. Once I got there I wasn't sure if I should get out and knock on the door or just text her.
Ivan: should I get out and get you?
Catalina: I'll be out in a bit
Ivan: alright
