Catalinas POV
I woke up to Tessa snoring, I looked around at my surroundings. I finally got up and went to the bathroom. My makeup had caked up from not taking it off and surprisingly no pimple appeared. I washed my face and change into some of Tessa's shorts and shirts. I looked for my phone and called my mom when i found it.
"Hello, Catalina, why did you not come home last night" my mom said worried
"Sorry my, i stayed over at Tessa's, we went out... to a birthday dinner for her and i was too tired to drive back home" i said lying
"Okay, well get back home as soon as possible so you can shower and get ready" she said
"Get ready for what?" I said
"Oh yes, your aunt from Texas is her and Angie her daughter came and she wants to go shopping" she said
"Mom. i'm suppose to help Tessa get ready for her party" i said
"You did not tell me this" she said confused
"We literally talked about it all this week because you wanted to help pay for drinks" I said a little annoyed
"Oh sorry honey, you know i'm getting old, but i'll giver her the money for it and then apologize since you won't be able to make it." she said
"Mom no you arent but i HAVE to attend my best friends 18th birthday party" i said "cant she go shopping tomorrow?" i said
"No, theyre going to disney tomorrow" she said
"Ugh, ok ill be there in a bit"
"ok , bye love you"
"Love you" i said
I got my clothe from last night and the dress that Tessa let me wear. I put on my shoes and made my way downstairs.
"Goodmorning sunshine" i heard someone say from the kitchen
I turn to look and saw Ivan their. I smiled and made my way over to him.
"Goodmorning" i said
"Want some breakfast" he said grabbing a biscuit
"Im good. Thanks though" i said
"Banana milk?" he said
"Ill take some of that" i giggled i drank the whole glass "man i hate bananas though" i siad
"Crazy" he smiled
"Well i have to get going" i said
"Alright, but ill see you at 1 right" he said
"Um, we'll see" i said
"Ok, bye" he said
"Bye" i said walking out the front door. I got into my car and checked my phone one last time.
'Hey! Cant wait to hang with you today' read a text from my cousin
I rolled my eyes and made my way home. When i got in i was immediatly hugged by my cousin. I slightly hugged her back.
"We're going to have so much fun today" she said
"Yea, we're" i whispered "anyways i have to go shower and brush my teeth and all that" i said
"Dont take long" she said
I ran to my room and called Tessa
"Hey, where are you?" she said
"Um i had to come home, but i just need to call and say im not sure that ill be able to help with the party....or even attend" i said
"WHAttt! Why?"
