Its been months since I've last talked to JK or Ju Cheol
I kept my promise to Manager Kim. I avoided them.. especially JK.
The only thing I got is the news I hear and watched about them. Ju Cheol seems to be doing fine. His last movie was a huge success & Jun Ki got an invitation to be a part of an international film.
They're doing well.. I'm so happy for them...
I miss them... I miss him...
"Miss Olive..."
I looked up from my desk & saw one of our security at the door of my office.
"Someone is looking for you.."
"Do you know who it is?"
"No ma'm"
"OK.. can you let them in the conference room? I'll be there in a minute"
"Yes miss."
I think my heart is going overdrive. who am I expecting it to be? Ju Cheol? Jun Ki?...
Who do I want to be in that conference room?
As I walk towards the room. My thoughts and heart seems to be in chaos. My head keeps on telling me to stop. Dont expect. Dont assume.
My heart keeps praying for something different.
The guy inside the room was someone I was not familiar with. He have his back on me as he stares out of the window
"Hello."
When he turned around I know I've seen him before...
"Hi, I know you might not recognised me... but we've met few times during parties."
"Oh.."
"My name is Song Kim Han .. I'am a friend of .... "
".... Jun Ki" I finished for him.
"Yes, and of Ju Cheol.. Im sorry to intrude. I wanted to talk to you."
"I dont know what we need to talk about..."
"We do need to talk. "

We went outside for coffee, we sat for a long time... just staring outside the shop.. my coffee gone cold.
"I thought you want to talk?" I initiated
"First of all. Jun Ki didnt sent me here. neither did Ju Cheol."
"I wasn't going to ask."
"But I did came here for them."
"Why?"
"I think its only fair for you to know how they are doing & what's happening to them."
"I think I know enough from the news."
"Those are work. but do you have any idea how they are behind their jobs?"
"Why do you want me to know?"
"Because its all because of you."
I didnt answer.
He took a deep breath... "Im not blaming you for anything. I just want you to know how they're.. Jun Ki drinks. almost every night he drinks until he pass out.
You won't return his calls, You won't face him when he comes to your office & at your new apartment. Do you have any Idea what he had to go thru just to find you?!"
I looked at my cup of coffee... I know he's right for blaming me for what's happening to JK.. BUT I hade no choice...
"Ju Cheol hardly rest. He takes in projects after projects. He wont stop as if he's working himself to death. "
"Thats not my fault. He broke up with me. He left me."
"He did that for your own protection!"
"I dont need protecting!" I clenched my fist under the table.. "I would have stayed by his side until he said otherwise. I would have defended him & protected him from anything!
I would have given him everything! but No. he took the coward's way out. Do you think that was the best choice for the two of us? HUH?
Do you think that would make either of us happy?!"
He didnt answered.
"Dont say things you don't understand. As if he did the right thing in order to protect me. It was not for me! It was for himself. He might love me but not as much as he love his career.... I was only the 2nd option on this story.. as for Jun Ki ...."
I can't even finish that sentence. Of course I know what going on with Jun Ki. I get those drunk calls. my voice mail is filled with them everynight. In the morning I had to go to work with puffy eyes. I cant take it anymore that's why I stopped listening to his vm.
"I don't need to explain to you...I have my reason and I dont need to tell you that."
I stood up and start to walk out the door.
"Jun Ki loves you!
My heart is pounding.
"He loves you that he will do anything for you."
I stopped but didnt turned around. My tears are now falling freely
"That's why I'm doing this..." I said softly.. and I left th coffee shop
