I did as I was told. Knowing that I'm going to gt it real this time if I didnt listened to her.
She came up after 45mins with a tray of food and some medicines.
"Eat your soup and bread then take you medicine then rest."
I looked at the red bean soup and the french bread she brought me.
"Are you not going to eat?? My patience is not that grand at the moment JK. Dont test it."
"Yes ma'am." I scooped the soup and ate it. The warmness of the soup filled my inside. I'm starting to feel better.
"Another one." She ordered.
I did as I was told. She watched me like a hawk as I continue to eat.
"No more.." I softly said as I places my spoon down.
She nodded and handed me my medicines and water. I swallowed my medicines in one guld and then she took the tray and placed it on the table.
"Rest." She pushed me down gently to lay down. Before she can turn away I grabbed her hand.
"Don't leave me..."
"I'm only going downstairs to work.."
"Please Olive.."
She nodded.
"Let me get my things.."
After a few minutes her side of the bed are filled with papers as she typed on her laptop.
I was laying on my side watching her.
"Have you talked to him?" I asked.
"Who?" She said distractedly as she looked over her papers.
"Ji Cheol."
"No. I havent." She simply answered without looking up from her papers.
"Why?"
"Have you?" She looked at me.
I laid on my back. Looked uo the ceiling and shooked my head.
"Why?"
"As if he is trying to reach me too.."
"He's your bestfriend."
"How about you?"
"He stopped by the office a few times.. but I cant face him.. yet." She places her laptop on the floor and laid down beside me. She turned around facing me and I did the same.
"I dont think I can face him yet...I'm still hurting.. you know.. but that doesnt mean you have to stopped talking to him. He broke up with me Jk.. not you."
She was right. But even so I don't think I can. Is it because of guilt? Or anger. He hurted her.
I closed my eyes as if saying this conversation is over. I heard her sigh.
Then I fell asleep with her sleeping beside me.
