Me : (looking for a white shirt in almira) mummy! Meri white shirt nhi mil Rahi hai!
Mum : theek se dekh, vahi par hogi.
Me : nahi hai mummy! Maine har jagah dekh liya hai! Pata nhi kaha rakh dete ho aap meri cheeze! Mujhe college ke liye late ho raha hai!
Mum : Maine almira me hi rakhi hai. Tum theek se Dekho, saamne saamne hi padhi hai tumhari shirt!
Me : Maine almira ka har Kona dekh liya hai, kahin Bhi nahi hai meri shirt. Aap khud aa kar dekh lo.
Mum : me tumhe ek Mauka aur deti hu, achche se dhoondh lo. Agar tumhe nahi Mili aur mujhe mil gai tumhari shirt to fir poore hafte apna kamra tumhe saaf Krna padhega.
Me : POORE HAFTE??!!!
- searches the whole almira again
- takes snaps if the almira as proof
- searches the whole bedroom with a magnifying glass
- searches relative's house
- searches friend's house
- searches kitchen , washroom, drawing room, etc , etc.
-Searches mars, venus and Neptune.
- still can't find the shirt.
Me : dhoondh liya mummy Maine, nahi hai yaha par shirt.
Mum : aati hu me.
- opens the almira and...Volaa!!! The shirt pops out and lands itself in mom's hand!
Me : Par...Par...par ye pehle yaha par nahi thi!
Mum : to ab Kya jaadu se aa gai?
Me : ha! Aapko yakin nahin hota? Ruko, mere pas saboot hai!
(Takes out the pics and hands it to mom confidently)
Mum : isme bhi shirt almira me hi hai!"
Me : Kya???
And volaaa!! The evil shirt comes on the photo also!
Mum : Chalo, ab saaf karo apna kamra aur achche se saaf karna.
Me : (sobs in the corner) ye to nainsaafi hai! Sab mere khilaaf hai! Poora zamaana mere khilaaf hai, ye shirt bhi mere khilaaf hai! Mere khilaaf saazish ki gai hai! Koi to mujhe insaaf dilao!
Moral : nothing is lost until your mom can't find it.
