"Have you ever seen the ocean before?"
You look over at Tyler and shake your head.
The two of you are sitting in the warm sand, the ocean splashing against your legs.
Beautiful, you sign.
Tyler grins. "It is beautiful," he says, looking out over the rolling sapphire waves.
You smile and watch the crowd of people playing and swimming in the water.
"You know what else is beautiful?" Tyler says suddenly.
You look at him.
"Josh," he says simply.
You make a face and splash Tyler with a handful of water.
"Hey!" He exclaims, laughing and shielding his face with his arms. "Joking! Joking!"
You keep splashing him with water, and he splashes you right back.
You squeeze your eyes shut when the water hits you, and Tyler presses his lips against yours. His lips taste salty from the sea water.
"Let's go swim," he smiles, taking your hand and pulling you into the ocean.
