Chapter 7

      Rai drove us in her car to the theater which was packed with thousands of people, a majority of girls with friends or reluctant boyfriends. We were lucky enough to find a parking spot with the large crowds of people.

      When we stepped out of the car, I stared at the massive building in front of me. It was extremely large and extravagant. It made sense for idols to perform in such an extravagant place, but it was like stepping into a museum with all of the big windows and television screen advertising the concert.

      "Amazing..." I said as I continued to stare at the building.

      "Shining corporation really does go above and beyond for their concerts." Octavia said as we walked into the building.

      "When you have the Shining man himself as your mentor, everything seems to shine am I right?" Rai joked as she jabbed me in my side with her elbow.

      "Just like your poster of him in his younger days in your room." I teased.

     "Hey, that guy is a classic. He made millions off of his songs, participated in several competitions, retired, created an academy for future composers and idols, and created his Shining corporation. You have to admit that everything he's done since his debut is admirable. The man has talent. He also helped STARISH debut."

       "You know a lot about Shining."

      "It comes with being a fan for both him and his apprentices. Speaking of being a fan, I see some STARISH merchandise at the counter! I'm going to go buy some. I'll be right back!" she exclaimed, running to the counter.

      "Wait, Rai!" I called out to her.

      "Let her go. Who knows how long it will be until we see another one of their concerts. We also have an hour until the concert starts." Octavia says while holding my shoulder.

     "Okay. Which door are we supposed to go through again?"

     "Door S. We aren't that far from it."

     "Funny how it's door S."

      "S for star." Octavia said, making us both giggle. Then, we both went silent for a moment.

      "Hey [Y/n], I feel like we've forgotten something." Octavia said, giving me a serious look.

       "Me too. We have our passes, we each have a map, we each have our purses with our belongings. What are we missing?"

       We thought silently trying to remember what we've forgotten. That's when it hit me, and I looked over at Octavia in shock.

       "The goodie-basket!" we both exclaimed.

       "Oh, I left it in the trunk of the car! How could I have forgotten?!"

       "I'm back! Look at all the merchandise I bought! I even have one for the both of you!" Rai screamed, walking over to us. Then she stopped, looking at how worried Octavia and I were.

       "Hey, what's wrong?" she asked in confusion.

       "Rai, we forgot the goodie basket." I told her.

        She paused for a moment, processing what I said.

        Then she handed her bags of merchandise to me.

        "I'll go get it. It's my car anyway."

        "Wait, what about the concert? We're already close to the door and we have less than an hour. It would take too long with this huge crowd." Octavia reminded her.
