The moment I took Loki's hand, I knew there would be only one way straight to Asgard. But Loki was known to be dead.

I opened my mouth but Loki opened his first. "Dress yourself, then I'll explain."

"I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU'RE NOT READY ON TIME!"

Tony's voice yelled through my door just before he opened it. In return, Loki slammed my closet door. I yelled back, "SHUT UP, STARK."

However, Loki saw the panic in my eyes. I turned quickly. I fished a pair of jeans and black t-shirt. I didn't have bras in my closet so I would just have to make do. I didn't even put on shoes.

"Heimdall, bring us home."

That's not Loki's voice.

The doorknob to my closet turned but I wasn't around to see what else happened.

Loki's arms wrapped around me but there was something different.

He had clouded himself in an illusion.

As I figured that out, my vision filled with the colors of the rainbow.

That was also the last thing I remembered before passing out.

"Loki!" I giggled loudly with his name and ran as fast as my little legs would take me. My dress tangled with my feet and I stumbled. My heart skipped a beat but I kept my balance and started running again. I looked over my shoulder to see the black haired boy had gained valuable space between us with my mistake. The little dagger I had was soon going to be taken back.

My little almond shaped blue eyes widened at him and he smirked with a boyish laugh. "Come on, Elise!"

I hitched my dress up higher and ran through the little village, past the forge. People stared at us as we went by. Scrutiny I didn't pick up on as a child was cast in my direction. Loki received looks of people rolling their eyes at him.

My little feet pounded harder into the ground as I giggled again.

Loki smiled. I could barely remember a time when he was as happy as I remember him being now as a boy running after the girl that had a crush on him.

He reached for my wrist. His long arms allowed him to do that but he didn't think about what else would happen when he stopped and pulled me roughly.

My momentum sent us both toppling to the ground. I dropped the dagger in an instant to keep him and myself from being harmed. The tips of his toes tried to stop us and horror crossed his face as my hands also let go of my dress to catch myself mid fall. However, Loki landed on top of my form and my chin hit brown dirt. Loki slid to my left side and his breath left him with childish laughter.

I lifted myself up slowly and laughed with him as I wiped dirt off my chin. Slowly he reached for the dropped dagger and lifted an eyebrow at me. "Now that I know you like my daggers, is there anything else you'd like to tell me since I caught you?"

I blushed for a minute but soon gathered bravery to speak up. "I like you, Loki."

He smiled. "You're growing on me."

---------

My backflip sent me over Sif's form. For a mere second, my whole body tickled. By the use of magic, my form shifted into a small she-wolf. Sif backed off when she found my jaws at the same height of her neck. Her spear elongated and a growl erupted in my chest. "Magic isn't fair."
