Chapter Thirteen - Dad's Dating Again

Ashley's P.O.V

I woke up to see Alex looking up at me. Holy shit; I was engaged to this girl. I was smiling to myself and I knew she'd noticed. I could hear that CC, Jake and Jinxx were awake because they were talking to each other from their bunks.

"You're comfortable to sleep on. Did you know that?" I laughed a little at Alex. Her voice when she was still half asleep was adorable.

"Surprisingly I didn't." She just chuckled.

"I'm not even kidding Ashes." 

"Ashes?" I raised one eyebrow at her.

"Yeah. It sounds cuter than Ashley. And I'm not saying that against the name Ashley but it does sound cuter." I chuckled a little before realising I was dying to go to the bathroom.

"Haha, well I'll be two minutes." I started to get up.

"OK, I think I'm going to see how my dad's doing anyway." I got out of the bunk and helped her down.

CC's P.O.V

I saw Ashley helping Alex down from her bunk and she walked over to me, Jake and Jinxx while Ashley went downstairs, presumably to go to the bathroom.

"Hi daddy." She smiled at me as she sat next to Jinxx on the edge of his bunk.

"Morning. Alex, can I ask you something?" I looked at her and she nodded. "How would you feel if I told you I had a date tonight?"

"I'd be fine with it. As long as it wasn't with a total bitch."

"Really?" She nodded. "Good, because I am. I'll be out from six tonight so please don't set anything on fire."

"Not even the world?" I looked at her for a second before realising what she meant. 

"Well you can set the world on fire if you really want to, but I wouldn't reccomend it..." She laughed as Ashley came back upstairs and sat next to me.

"You two have fun last night." Jinxx winked at Ashley and Alex playfully punched him in the arm. He pretended it really hurt and they were just laughing.

"You guys are so funny..." Ashley got up and went downstairs, clearly pissed off.

"I'll go see what he's got his face up his arse about..." Alex stood up and walked downstairs after him.

Alex's P.O.V

I really don't know what Ashley had gotten so worked up about. He was fine one minute then not the next. He was weird with his moods sometimes...

"Ashes..." He was sat with his head in one hand and his phone in the other. "What's wrong?" He looked up at me before putting his head back in his hand. "Come on, tell me." He looked at his phone then to the floor. I took it off him.

"Please don't..." He looked at me with his puppy dog eyes but I proceeded to unlock it anyway. He had his twitter mentions open. I read through them, they were all in reply to him announcing he was engaged. There were things like:

Who is she? I'll kill the slut.

How could you Ashley?! I thought we had something!

She's ruined BVB for me now.

The list went on.. I looked at Ashley who looked distressed. I smiled at him before giving him his phone back and sitting beside him.

"It's OK you know. These people don't even have the guts to come say it to my face. If they're saying it spoiled the band, then they cant be true fans can they? It'll be fine because we've got each other to get through it... And the guys... Even Stacey... So nothing else in the world needs to matter."

He just hugged me and we returned upstairs. We just sat generally talking until my dad shouted.

CC's P.O.V

I really did not know what to wear for this date. It was already three so I only had another three hours until I had to be there... I decided to rely on my daughter. I shouted of her and she practically skipped down the bus.

"Help me get ready for my date... Pleeeeeeeeeeease." She sighed a little.

"You're really hopeless." I nodded. "OK, do you have any clothes that aren't leather?"

"I don't know..." She shook her head.

"Well go have a look. I'll be right back." She walked off and I started digging through my stuff.

I found some black skinny jeans and a black dress shirt. She came back with her makeup bag in her hand. I raised an eyebrow.

"Go change into those and then come back." I walked down to the bathroom and quickly got changed, before running back up the stairs. "Now, fasten your top button. I'll be right back." She went to her bunk and came back with a red tie that was all trashed and covered in safety pins and chains.

"A tie?!" I was gobsmacked. I'd never wore a tie since I was at school and even then I barely did.

"Yes, a tie. You want to make a good impression, don't you?" I nodded. "Now sit still."

She put the tie on me and then put a thin line of eyeliner on me, before sticking up the back of my hair just a little. It took quite a while and just as it was done I had to leave.

"Thank you." I smiled at Alex.

"It's fine now get off to your date... And don't you dare take that tie off!" She warned me not to take it off but no doubt I would eventually if this date went well... If you know what I mean...
