Chapter Three - This Day Has Been... Eventful..?
As Ashley left the bathroom, much sooner than expected, I went in and pulled on my skinny jeans and my purple and black vest top. My makeup was just simply a thin line of eyeliner and some mascara. I hated wearing it but looked awful without it so I guess I just had to put up with it. I also attempted to tame my hair but it refused so I just brushed it through and left it. As I left the bathroom I could hear my dad complaining about there only being one Wild Cherry Pepsi left."Dad, if you want I'll just go get some. I mean there has to be somewhere around here to get some. The bus will still be here until tomorrow so I'll go and find a store somewhere. I'm less likely to get spotted that you are." He smiled at me before quickly running to the back of the bus and returning.
"Here." He handed me a Marilyn Manson hoodie. "I heard you on about buying your own so I got you one!" I hugged him.
"Thank you so much! Now can I lend some money to get your stuff." He just handed me my credit card back which he had taken from me the other week for spending too much money.
"Don't go mad with it this time, OK?" I nodded and laughed as I was leaving the bus.
There were a few people outside waiting, hoping it was one of the band members. However, it was only me so they just sighed and continued waiting. I guess no one really cared that Christian Coma had kept his daughter secret from the world for 17 years.
I checked a map on my phone and realised that there was a store just round the corner. I quickly walked over and went straight in. There was only one other person there and they had a shirt on with my dad's face on.. Well it was kind of his face, he had his makeup on so he looked different but it was still technically him. She looked at me, and then did a double take. I just quickly went over to get the case of Pepsi for my dad and then I began walking to the counter. Just as I was getting served, I heard a voice from behind me.
"Excuse me?" When I looked at her, she seemed nervous and on edge. "Are you the daughter of Christian Coma.. I mean Mora?"
"How did you know?" I was confused, surely no one would really recognise me from the video.
"Well I saw the Bryan Stars interview where you were hugging Ashley, and CC admitted it... And it says 'Alex Mora' on your credit card." OK, way to make me feel stupid.
"Oh, yeah. So I guess you like Black Veil Brides then?" She kind of squeaked a little.
"I love them so much. Mind if I get a picture with you since you're CC's daughter?" She seemed a little nervous when asking.
"Yeah sure." She quickly took a picture. "So, if I check it's OK, do you want to meet them?" She just nodded so I pulled my phone out and dropped my dad a text.
Me: Hey dad. I met a fan in the store, she loves you guys. Is it OK if I bring her to meet you?xx
CC: Urm as long as she's not crazy xx
Me: Don't worry she's lovely!xx
CC: OK then, but you better have my Wild Cherry Pepsi!xx
Me: Don't worry I do! See you in about 5/10 minutes xx
CC: OK see you soon xx
I noticed she was just flipping through the Kerrang! magazine she had just bought.
"You coming then?" She turned around and grinned at me.
"OK, and thank you so much! I don't think I can ever repay you!" She just kept smiling as we left the shop.
"It's fine, you don't have to repay me in any way. I'm just glad I can give you a chance to meet them."
We just walked along in silence for the rest of the 5 minute walk. It wasn't a weird silence though, it was kind of nice. She started to get really giddy as we got closer and closer to the bus. There were more people gathered outside now but again they seemed to ignore us, except one...
"So I hear you're CC's daughter? What's it like? Do you enjoy touring with them? Who's the girl you're with?" He just asked them one after the other.
"Yes. It's cool. Yes. And she's a fan I'm doing a favour for." I quickly answered the questions and went up the bus steps, about to open the door. "Oh yeah, what's your name?"
"Olivia Smith." The girl answered and then I opened the bus door with my elbow since I was still carrying my dad's Pepsi.
Olivia stepped inside and then I followed. Ashley immediately came over and took the crate off me and threw it in the fridge for me. Olivia looked like she was about to explode as Jinxx walked over to her. He introduced himself, and so did the other guys. She had just gotten photos with them when her phone buzzed in her pocket.
"Sorry guys, my mom want's me back home... Thank you so much!"
"It's fine." My dad smiled at her. "Sorry we weren't in our warpaint or leather!"
"It's fine. Anyway, I have to go now. Goodbye."
With that she skipped off. It was weird how one little thing could make someone seem so happy. I'm glad I went to the store now because I've made someone happy. I went over to my bunk to get Steve but I found a dog in my bed... Why it was there, I didn't know.
"Guys...Why is there a dog in my bed?" My dad and Ashley were both giggling.
"Well," Ashley started. "We were all sat on the steps whilst Andy was smoking. The dog ran across with no collar, and no owner came looking for it."
"So," my dad carried on. "We thought, since you've always wanted a dog, you could look after him..." They both looked at me as I picked up the little dog. I could tell it was a husky straight away. It was so cute!
"OK then. What's his name or do you not know?" They just looked at me. "I'll take that as a no then... How about... Urmm..."
"What about Coma?" I looked over at Ashley. "I mean, it is your dad's stage surname and stuff..."
Me and my dad looked at each other.
"Coma it is."
