Hunt.

Korra's POV:

I want my mommy not you.
"Oh the silent treatment, huh? Well that's to bad cause I want to be your friend." No you don't you have to be here.
"Well okay. I've had plenty of little experience before. Want to play a game?"
No. Go home.
"Well you know. It doesn't have to be a boring game seeing as I'm a wolf. With access to the woods." I'm listening...
"Would you like me to take you hunting?" Omg yes!!!!
I would love to go!!! I was never able to catch anything big cause of my size but with help I can!
I howled with excitement.
"Well there's the big wolf I was waiting for." She smiled at me and pat my head.
"Come on and let's go."

We drove in her car to the woods. She let me stick my head out the window the whole way there. We hopped out and she grabbed a fannypack and fastened it around her neck before she shifted.
Wow her wolf is so big!!! It stood at least 3 times bigger than mine. Her fur was a storm cloud shade of gray and shimmered in the light.
She rubbed herself against me as she mind linked me.
-I don't want you getting lost so I'm gonna get my scent on you and vise versa. You stay close at all times and no wondering off you hear me?-
-Yes Rachel.-
-Oh sweetie just call me auntie.-
I nodded and wagged my tail. She's a lot nicer than I thought she would be.
-Come on let's start looking for pray. No more than a tail length away.-
I quietly followed behind her for it seemed like days. I wonder what mama is doing right now.. Probably not missing me I'm sure.
-Get down!- I quickly jumped out of my day dreaming state and into fight mode. I flattened myself against the ground just like auntie.
-Look west.- I did and it was a deer!
-You stay here and I will sneak up behind him. I will pounce on his back and you will go for the kill with a bite to the neck. Got it?-
-Yes!-
-Good.-
My heart started to race when she made her approach to the deer. Once she moved in so did I pulling all of my strength into snapping his neck. Once he was down auntie shifted and took the bag from around her neck.
"You did an amazing job!" That was such a rush!!!
"Time to enjoy all your hard work." She took a knife out of her bag and cut me a big hunk of meat.
"Go a head you earned it." I started to eat my delicious piece of meat as I watched her cut the rest up.
-You don't want any?-
"No I'm fine this kill is yours."
-Can I take the rest home to give to mommy?-
"Yes of course I'm sure she would love that."
She wrapped all the good pieces in the deer pelt and looked at me.
"Oh god we have to get you home now, you're covered in blood." She picked me up and spoke to herself.
"Nova is gonna kill me if she sees you like this. Well at least it was more fun than pizza." I rocked as she carried me. With my stomach so full it was hard to stay awake...

"Why the fuck is there blood all over the place!!!" My head popped up as I heard my mommies sweet angry voice.
I looked around to see I was sleeping on a news paper in the living room. Mommy and auntie were arguing in the kitchen, it really sounded one sided.
"Please tell me why I come home to blood all over my spotless kitchen!"
"Well..."
"While you're at it tell me why it smells like kush as well!"
"I ummmm."
"I can't believe I trusted you. I'm gonna check on my little and you clean the fuck up."
The second she stepped in the living room to see me I could tell she was gonna flip. Her eyes turned blood red.
"Rachel get in here." She said unusually calmly.
Auntie did but her head was lowered.
"Why is she covered in dried blood sitting on newspaper? And before you answer let me warn you I had better like the next thing that comes out of your mouth."
"I took her out for a hunt. She got really dirty and was sleeping after so I put her on a newspaper so you could give her a bath."
"I'm gonna do that. By the time I'm done my kitchen better be the exact way I left it and we are gonna have a long talk about responsibility. Understand?" Rachel took a hard glop.
"Yes." She barely said at a whisper.

As mommy gave me a bath I could tell she was still very angry.
So I shifted to my human form and she raised an eyebrow at me.
"I had a lot of fun today."
"Did you now?"
"Ya a lot! Please don't be mad with her." Her facial expression softened.
"She didn't ask my permission to take you anywhere. I can't let that go."
"Please mommy I know you are upset but she meant well." She paused to rinse me off.
"You really had a good time, huh?" I nodded.
She kissed my cheek and pulled me out of the tub.
"Good I'm glad. Let's get you dressed and dry and you can tell me all about it okay?"
I let out a happy yip and ran to our bed room.
"I brought you home some too!" She gave me a jaw dropping smiled.
"Oh really? That's so sweet! I can't wait to have some." My mommy eating a meal that I hunted! I puffed out my chest.
