Plane.

Nova's POV:

"You have to get out here now." Nick yawned over the phone.
"I told you I can't with Korra."
"Well you're not the only buyer for this property. It's now or never." I sighed.
"I will be out there tomorrow."
"Good see you then." I hung up the phone and went online buying plane tickets to Colorado. I hate these bidding wars for property and I wouldn't even bother if it wasn't for the location. It's a great spot on the edge of town and at the beginning of the woods. A lot of wolves will be passing through looking to get drunk and I will be there to take their money.
I packed a light bag for myself and a bigger one for Korra. Clothes, stuffed animals and her Nintendo Switch. Well it's a gift I was waiting to give her, but this seems like the best time for it. After all there will be a lot of lines and waiting.
"Korra, come here!" My puppy ran in the room with her tail wagging. She shifted into her human form and bounced on the bed.
"Yes mommy?"
"We are taking a little trip."
"To the park!!!" I smiled.
"No sweetie to Colorado. Mommy has some business to take care of."
"What's a Colorado? Is that a type of park!?"
I laughed harder.
"No it's a different state. You will love it, it's wolf county."
"I want to start a pack there! You will be my Luna!"
"You want to start a pack?"
"Ya that sounds fun."
"You know that's a lot of responsibility."
"I also want a part time job!"
"What do you want that for?"
"I'm gonna buy a cabin!"
"A new pack and a new cabin?"
"Yes!!!" Her tail popped out and was going crazy. I rubbed her head and spoke.
"Okay baby we will see about that stuff. But right now we have a plane to catch."

I gave her the switch and it kept her occupied through the long lines. I let her wear her coziest clothes so it wouldn't be too hard for her to take a nap on the plane as well. I brought Rachel and Holly as babysitters for Korra, the two of them together can't possibly fuck up watching her.
I hate these fucking lines.
We walked up to the tsa agent and he told us to walk through the metal detector. I made Korra go first.
"Put our game in the bin and walk through." She did as I asked but the beeper went off.
"Excuse me miss, you need to take your necklace off."
"It's not a necklace it's my collar and I don't want to." Korra folded her arms, the tsa agent gave her a look. Most likely because of the collar part.
"Baby you have to. Just for a minute."
"No!" She pouted. What did she just; oh no, I won't have her catch an attitude with me.
"Now." I gave her a look that told her she was very close to getting a punishment.
She took it off but I noticed she had tears in her eyes. I wasn't that harsh, I read her mind to find out what was wrong.
That man is gonna steal my collar like those other kids...
My poor girl.
"No one is stealing anything sweetie, just give it to me, don't worry." She did as I told her. Once she passed through the metal detector I walked over to her and put the collar back around her neck and kissed her forehead. Once we all got past sircrity there were even more people, fuck!
"Don't let go of my hand, I don't need to lose you." She nodded and looked around nervously. She's not used to being around all these people. I could feel her squeezing me tightly.
I have a dinner with the buildings owner the same night we land so I want to make sure she takes a nap on the plane. We all boarded the plane and she sat next to me playing her game.
"Honey it's nap time, turn your game off."
"But mommy I'm not tired!"
"No arguments." She did as I asked and handed it to me.
"Good girl, someone just earned themselves extra play time when we land." She smiled wide. I lifted the arm rest between us so she could lean into me.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, do to inclement weather our flight to Denver will be delayed. Please say in your seats until we can get off the ground." God I hate the airport.
"Mommy what does he mean by off the ground?"
"He's taking about flying." I said softly hoping she would sleep.
"Flying?! Like birds?!"
"Exactly like that."
"I don't want to fly! I'm not a bird!"
"There's nothing to worry about just sleep. By the time you wake up we will be there." I reached in my bag and pulled out a binky, stuffed animal and a light blanket. I wrapped her up next to me and she leaned into me.
As she drifted off I noticed she was warmer than normal. Then again it's probably nothing, after all I'm cold blooded.
I pulled out my phone and looked at cabins in Colorado. Since I'm trying to start a new business a new home with my little near that business sounds nice. I want to make a new home for the both of us that's not my apartment. I know she will love it. 
Oh this is a nice one. It's really big and a nice backyard. She can start her little pack. I kissed her head as she slept.

"This is a hotel. It's like a temporary home." Korra nodded and rubbed her eyes. She had just woke up from her nap and was a bit grumpy. I need her to eat and I need to get going to my meeting. Rachel and Holly are no help, all they are doing is flirting.
Korra was in her human form and her tail and ears where out but they were drooping. She's usually excited about new things, maybe it's nothing, I grabbed the room keys and the bags.
"Let's go everyone! Time to unpack." Korra was holding onto me by my shirt, she's probably jet lagged.
"Rachel grab the bags."
"Sure."
I scooped Korra up and put her on my hip.
"How's mommy's little girl?" I said softly in her ear.
"Tired."
"Don't worry we are gonna get you a nice steak; does that sound good?" She nodded and hid her head in my neck.
"I want kisses too." I laughed.
"We can get you those too." Shit look at the time! I have to get going! Once we where in the hotel room I wrote down detailed instructions on how to take care of Korra.
"Here Rachel, I have to get going follow this list."
"Where are you going mommy? I thought we were eating steak together."
"Tomorrow night honey, I have a meeting to go to."
"Please I want to go!" She gave me the cutest puppy dog eyes. These deep blue eyes melted my heart.
"Fine, hurry and put on a dress, I can't be late."
She ran off excited for the first time since the plane ride.
"And you too. Whatever you do keep it out of our bed and be decent by the time we get back. We should only be gone for an hour. No fucking in the kitchen." They blushed and mumbled about not knowing what I'm talking about.

Walking into the restaurant I held my baby's hand. I can't believe I couldn't just buy the building without having to met this man. I saw Nick sitting at a round table with a glass of wine. We joined him.
"Did you ask your dom to drink?" He gave me a big smile.
"It's nice to see you too. No, this is with dinner. I usually only ask daddy to play with myself."
"Nick!" I motioned to Korra mortified.
"Oh right, sorry." I turned to Korra. She was too busy playing with her tail to notice us. I draped my arm around her chair.
"So where is he?"
"I don't know he's late."
"No I'm not! Well technically yes but I'm here now!" A large man with a beard sat at the table with us.
"Hi let's get this started."
"Yes, it was nice meeting your husband but seeing as he couldn't sign any paperwork I wanted to met you." My husband? Oh he must mean Nick.
"No she's mine!" Korra bursted out angry.
