Unwanted Help.

Korra's POV:

I sat shot gun as mommy drove us through the woods. I can smell that pack house again. The ones with the mean kids that jumped me.
"Why are we going? I don't want to."
"Its gonna be good for you trust me. I'm staying the whole time."
My wolf stirred.
*THUD

Zachariah's POV: (minutes earlier)

I enjoyed the summer breeze from my bedroom balcony, mostly because of the smell of ribs on the grill. Looking out at my backyard I smiled to myself. It's full of all the pack members I take care of and protect. I love them but like any family they can be a real pain in my ass sometimes. The young pups trying to prove themselves by being reckless and the house council stuck in their ways. The council is necessary so every pack member can be heard but elders influence policy more than they should. Like no vampires on the property. The position is understandable, protect the land from outsiders. Not to mention the bloody wars of the past. But that's what it is; the past. We haven't fought in centuries and what if one of the pups has a vampire mate?
Thoughts quickly faded from my head and I spotted what was really making me smile.
My mate.
She was talking amongst the members radiating her irresistible aura. People are naturally drawn to her because of her kindness and strength. In most cases she actually leads the pack to expand and grow. Where as I train the warriors. She's better with people after all.
They are almost done cooking love, don't make me drag you down here.
Her sweet voice ran through my head as she blew me a kiss from below.
Ugh. I would rather just eat with her, the others make to much noise. I will get her to myself tonight...
*sniff
Is that lavender?
Vampire. It covers the scent of blood if you use enough but just another thing not allowed in the house.
But on my property?
I ran out of my room rushing outside. I have to intercept them before they get to the pack house and someone else smells them. No need to start a panic.
I shifted into my wolf and sprinted to the source of the smell. A car was cruising down the road. There you are.
I jumped in front of the vehicle and shifted back into my human form.
*THUD
Using my full strength I grabbed the front of the car and put my foot in the ground bringing it to a stop.
"Turn around now."

Korras POV:

*THUD
I was jolted forward suddenly only saved by my seatbelt. Mommy put her arm protectively in front of me as the car came to a sudden and somewhat violent stop. I looked up to see a half naked man standing in front of the car. His eyes burned green.
"Turn around now."
My heart was going 120 miles an hour as my wolf stirring got more intense.
My mind got fussy as the situation got hard to process. Why did we come here?
"Korra! Baby, are you okay? Shit." My loves voice only told of worry as she hurried out of the car. When she stepped out she locked eyes with the man that caused this.
"Are you fucking crazy?!"
"You are trespassing on my land and it's time for you to go." He growled out.
"If my girl has even so much as a scratch, I'm going to gut you dog." She rushed over to my side of the car and scooped me up. She was scanning me for injuries.
"You are okay puppy don't worry. Mommies got you." She whispered in my ear bring me comfort. I held on tightly to her and hid in the crook of her neck. I took deep breaths of her scent to calm down.
"Korra? Why are you with this vampire?" The mans familiar voice was changed from aggressive to concerned. I looked up to finally get a good look at him. It was the alpha Zachariah! He shared his sandwich with me before, but now he didn't seem so friendly.
Mommies fangs where fully drawn.
"Don't address my partner after you almost killed us."
"I do as I please mosquito."
"Oh, I'm gonna have fun killing you." The energy in the air was tense and I have a feeling if nova wasn't holding me they would be fighting.
"I'm okay guys please don't fight. Alpha this is my mate Nova."
His eyes widened.
"You are joking?"
"No, actually if it wouldn't be to much we need your help." He thought about it for a minute, looking a my love hard.
"Since I like you pup, I will help you. I don't know why the vampire needs to be here."
"Because last time she was left in the care of wolfs, she was ganged up on and they broke her leg. If you were a good alpha you would know what's going on in your pack."
"I don't need you insulting me. I've been nice but I will not tolerate disrespect again." He barked out. Nova just rolled her eyes.
"Did I step on your tail? Or are you mad because it's true?"
"Please guys stop fighting!"
I hopped out of mommies arms and finally took a stand.
"I want help controlling my wolf! Alpha please help me!"
He looked surprised at first but relaxed smirking to himself.
"Look at that fire in your eyes. It doesn't fit your size."
"I don't care. Teach me to be strong."
He pat my head.
"Sure kid."
He reached in his pocket and pulled out a cloth. He wiped the sweat off himself and then approached my love.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing."
"You need to smell like a wolf so you can come on our property."
"Don't touch me with your sweat rag."
"This is the only way... I mean I could mark you like a tree."
"Give me the rag."

After our rocky meeting with Zachariah he let Nova and I stay at the pack house. Which is huge by the way.
"Come this way." He lead us to an elevator. Once we where all in he clicked the button for the fifth floor.
"The fifth floor is exclusively for my wife and I, but seeing as you are not really supposed to be living here, you will stay with us. Keep that rag close to you at all times and show it to anyone that gives you trouble."
We walked out of the elevator to see a very nice apartment set up. Rustic pink and blue color scheme.
"The guest room has plenty of privacy, this should be clear but please don't talk to any wolves. They don't need to know you are here."
A beautiful women with amber hair walked out of a bedroom.
"Who's here honey?"
Her eyes looked through me.
"Sophie! My love, ummm these are gonna be our guests for a while."
She raised an eyebrow at him.
"When where you planing to tell me?"
He looked down and rubbed the back of his neck.
