[ This is what one section looks like, but not as old - and still in use, as it is open for the public, and much newer looking and with more people. ]
As should in the title - it is a library sort of establishment that the Admyn Prophet runs. It's true name is actually the Library of Sim. It, itself, is named after someone, but the Prophet has refused to comment on it - even to the other Admyns. Some have considered it was named after Prophet himself, his name not his title. But his apprentice, one of them anyway, has since denied that to be true - so it is still currently an unanswered question.
It is approximately a five hour walk north of a town called Nijuela, and is located on the far west end of the Vintas forest - which is the opposite to Schemer's Groove, which is on the east end.
Prophet, is of course, the one in charge and manages everything in the library. However, he is only there around half of the time if you are looking for him - and usually not anywhere accessible by non staff members. In his absence, one or both of his apprentices will be running it - if they are as well absent while Prophet is gone, which it rarely ever, the library will either close to the public. Or be managed by someone no one has ever seen, who is also a mystery. One of the apprentices is named Cecil S.(last name unknown, since he chooses to keep it so), and the other is named Gyrianne Lereith. There are other staff there, other than just those four, and they can be easily be seen around - cleaning, organizing, watching, etc. So there will be always someone around watching, and it is a public space - so you shouldn't expect any privacy either. Unless you are in one of the quiet rooms. The quiet rooms being small rooms that are made for one person to use to either do research, read, work, etc.
No one actually knows how large the library is. The original building has been added to and added to over the years in order to make up for the large amounts of information that is always coming in from all sorts of places. There are a great big number of things open to public use, and an equal amount that can only be used under supervision in the library. Since as it isn't only a library of books, there are other collections of things as well. Like there is one section simply based off instrument and music type things. There are also some parts that act more like a museum more than a library. There is a large portion of the library that is cut off from the public use - for reasons of many. No one but staff or people who are cleared to be there are allowed - and being catch there without permission will lead to action in the justice system and in law.
The library has three floors and a basement, two of the floors and the basement are open for public use. The size of all of these floors are unknown - since again, the library is constantly expanding for the flow of information coming in - but it seems endless. On the main and second floor, it is used for knowledge that anyone is free to use and look at as they please. However, the basement is what houses items that needs to be used under supervision of staff members and such. You need to sign in the library and sign your name again if you go into the basement - and wait for someone to help you. The third floor is said to just be an area of offices for staff members and such, as well as were items just coming into the library are kept while they wait to be put in the lower levels.
Things from the library are not allowed to be taken out of the library. You can be granted a copy of the book - but the original must always stay in the library. In the case the library only as one copy is available, one is not granted to take it out of the library. For items such as instruments - common instruments are granted to be borrowed, since the library does have more than one, but one must always be in the library. You need to sign your name into the system, in order to take it out of the library. The return policy is that it must be brought back within four weeks's time. If this is not met, then there will be enforcers sent after the book in order to get it back - and the person must pay a fine. It is known that wanderbirds are the enforcers they make sure the rules are followed and dispatch a bird to follow each book. However, the question is raised on how Prophet managed to make this so. Since it is known that wanderbirds are under the rule of the Wanderer and not Prophet himself, Prophet himself having never explained that to the public. You can - however - renew a book, but that is only if another person as not placed a hold on it (a hold being a request to get the book as soon as it comes in). You can renew a book three times maximum, each renewal being another four weeks. You'll have to either physically go to the library to renew the book - or give a slip of paper to the bird following, who will bring it back to the library. However, if the bird approach is taken - it must be done before the time limit is up, because if not, then an enforcer will track you down and bring the book back.
Some say that the basement was where the items that were 'not open to the public' was secretly housed at a previous date. It is because of the rumours that are currently speculated around the tunnels in the Vintas Forest. It is rumoured that Schemer had built them trying to get into the basement of the library: since the the tunnels pre-date the known existence of the basement in the library, it is what caused people to question why she was digging there to begin with. Which is where the previous claim of off limits items come into play.
