Information on the more civilized parts of the Origin can be found below. Restrictive laws, illegal substances, the running of cities and several other facts that are important to know while living in the Origin are included below. All laws stated below are those created by the Admyns, and are not to be broken under any circumstances. [The laws are not laws for roleplayers, but for the characters, just so that there is no confusion on the matter. Nobody's going to be booted for breaking them!]
•Cities•
The election of a city governor is a simple enough affair, and the matter is explained here. Every four years, the citizens are given a choice; let the current governor remain or vote for a new one. The matter is decided through a non-mandatory vote, and if the vote is for the current leader, then they stay in power. If against the leader, a new one will be elected, and the previous one is not allowed to run for governor. Those governors that bring prosperity to the city are often left to govern untouched for centuries, but those that stir up dissent are quickly cast down when a new vote comes around.Greater cities, are where most Wylders choose to live, they are the largest and most populous cities. There are currently three greater cities, said to be started by Wyld herself before the time of the Wylders. The greater cities are known as Osheyn, Derya and Xia.
Osheyn is situated next to the ocean, where the Oshthapee river meets the sea. It delivers goods to many smaller, less known towns, and its fields are quite prosperous. It has the largest difference in classes, with the richest of the rich and the poorest of the poor living beneath its walls. Those with money live prosperously, while those who for various reasons cannot have that same money live in slums bordering the docks.
Derya is situated in the rolling hills of Dairthwen, an area with a mild and pleasant climate. Many of the Dairthwen hills were carved into terrasses long ago, and the rich earth supports both crops and orchards. The city itself is situated near Sleistra lake, the depths of which remain unknown. The city is smaller than Osheyn, and the buildings are less clustered together. It is a friendly and happy place, though a bit too close to Schemer's Grove for her liking.
Xia is the last of the greater cities, but not least. Situated on the shores of the broad Xierthen River, it is bordered by absolutely flat plains, ideal for certain crops and especially good for raising livestock. It is a bustling town, with full markets and not often prone to bad weather.
The Blind Birdie, is not a city at all, but ought to be mentioned. It is a tavern -or an inn, if you prefer that term- located at a crossroads between the three greater cities. Travellers stay here often, many only stopping for a drink before moving on. It's full of gossip, and has information on quests and outlaws. Named after Wanderer, who truly is a blind birdie, nobody is sure if Schemer, Prophet or someone else entirely named it so.
•Illegal Substances•
Eranthis Hippomanica (Common name: Tombstone) is an uncommon, large plant and can be found only high in the mountains. It has huge, kidney shaped leaves, which are usually forest green. It also grows huge flowers, which can be blue, pink and dark yellow.
These plants grow in decent numbers, but it's hard to control and maintain their growth.
As a defense mechanism the Eranthis Hippomanica is poisonous for most creatures. They rely on self pollination to reproduce. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large, inedible fruits.
The entire plant is poisonous - and will damage physically to the afflicted. However the poison is known to cause a 'high' like feeling in people who used it in small doses - either it be used to eat, brewed into a tea, etc - and they will suffer the effects much more gradually. Thus it is a drug of sorts, and dangerous, now completely illegal, yet some still manage to obtain it.Echinecea Strobus (Common name: Marbles) is an uncommon, medium-sized plant and can be found in most highlands. It blooms in early autumn. It has narrow, lobed leaves, which are usually pine green. It also grows decent sized flowers, which can be dark grey, light red, dark purple, light purple and light yellow.
These plants grow in small groups, but it's fairly hard to control and maintain their growth.
As a defense mechanism the Echinecea Strobus mimics the overall look of a different, poisonous plant. They are not deadly themselves. However, they will not to any damage to the body - they can take mental effects on the user. Paranoia is an example of a symptom. Once pollinated, they grow fairly large nuts. Any use of it can become addictive, the reason for its illegality.•Creations of the Admyns•
Several Admyns have places -homes, if you will- of their own, they are listed below. Some are simply a living place, others are somewhat more open to the public.Schemer's Grove, is a grove with trees of extraordinary size, ridiculously tall. Schemer makes her home here, and while she dislikes visitors, Wylders have a habit of wandering in anyway. It is an ideal place to find herbs, since Schemer grows them herself with the utmost care.
Prophet's Library, called the library of Sim, it contains vast amounts of knowledge. There are of course those places that are cut off from the public, but there's hardly any information you won't find here. Rumours have been spread by Schemer that Prophet actually sleeps in the library, though it remains unconfirmed.
Feather Peak is not quite a home to the Wanderer, since she spends most of the time traveling. It is home to the wanderbirds and their prey, and if you'll catch word of Wanderer anywhere, it's here.
Architect's mountain is home to the Architect. She lives at one of the three peaks at the mountain, yet, they are guarded by the Yarnis, so a visit it is not recommended unless invited.
The healing springs are called so because they are the home of Collaborator, known to be a healer. A natural hot water spring bubbles from the ground, making its way down into a series of steaming stone pools. The pools and aqueducts that carry the water are said to be created by Schemer, as a gift to Collaborator.

Archeons
Creatures as old as the Admyns themselves, if not older. They hold specific power of a certain place and have almost absolute power in his/her territory. Here is a list of the known Archeons:
Sandstorm~ Desert queen
Aurora~ Ocean nymph
Cronos~ Mountain giant
Shadow~ Cave serpent
Thea~ Lava dweller
Zephyr~ Wind lordAstrology
The origin is an interesting place, there is no sun, yet there seems to be a pinkish-orange glow that intensifies and dims depending on the time of the day. Same as Earth, a day can be divided into 24 hours, seven days a week etc. Yet, meteorologists and astrologists prefer to divide a day into seven sections. Seven days make a week, seven weeks make a Period, and seven Periods make a cycle. The skies are very difficult to read, since there are no planets, stars, or galaxies, since the Origin is at a different dimension than the rest of them. Yet, there is a specific pattern as the sky shifts and changes, in a swirling myriad of colours and clusters of "stars" which are actually where the colours converge on.
It is said that all knowledge in the past, the current, and the future is hidden in the sky. It was rumoured that something big will happen in a few centuries, as the Origin is approaching its 1400th cycle, also called an Era. Don't ask, people have no idea why it's 1400.
Anyway, don't be bothered by the astronomical terms, as all use Earth terms for communication, except for astrologers.
