Here you can find a list of some of the species, both great and small, which are native to the Origin. Plants, animals, and all things humanoid are listed below in their category. [This list will often be updated when new creatures are discovered or created.]

Flora
The Origin is home to various plant species, some of them dangerous, which is why a guide has been created. Even in a utopia, there are many ways to die.

Harmful Flora
Creeping Grimist ↬ A most unpleasant vine-like plant, known for spewing a gaseous grey-green substance that will kill its prey. If enough of the mist substance is inhaled or if it enters the body system in any way, the body will begin to shut down. Once dead, the creeping grimist will use the nutrients provided by the dead body to grow.

Xiytune ↬ A bush that is bristly in appearance, closely resembling rosemary. Its scent is different though, much more pungent than rosemary. If eaten, xiytune will cause a permanent blindness once digested, as well as a temporary itching in the eyes. Once the itching has run its course, the iris and pupil will have vanished, leaving white eyes. Both the blindness and disappearance of pupil and iris can be cured by the Collaborator, no other cure has been found to date.

Prophet's Head ↬ A get back at Prophet for the plant Schemer's soul, Prophet's head is a mildly harmful plant. It is a small bush that never grows more than a metre high. It grows fruit, that vastly resemble the pitcher plant from Earth. The fruits are harmful if eaten, though as far as everyone knows, the only effect is the killing of a few brain cells and a painful stomach ache. It kills brain cells, undoubtedly an insult to Prophet's intelligence by Schemer.

Ziexen ↬ Ziexen is a mostly harmful plant, if eaten, its leaves and stem will induce a coma. The roots are a different matter, they can be eaten or brewed into a tea to help with insomnia and cause a person to sleep. It is very easy to overdose on, which can have dangerous effects on the sleeper. The plant is a navy blue in colour, resembling the night sky with small white spots dotting it. It resembles mint in shape, with the same slightly ridged and almost fuzzy leaves.

Non-Harmful Flora
Schemer's Soul ↬ Named by Wanderer, who later framed Prophet, causing Schemer to be greatly angered. Schemer's soul is harmless but has an extremely bitter and unpleasant taste. A grey-green plant with small yellow flowers and long stalks. The leaves are almost diamond shaped and a bit lighter in colour than the stalks. The herb -if it can be called that- grows well in warmer climates, and is quite persistent, it is known to grow out of the smallest of cliff crevasses.

Bloody Helix Despite having a rather unpleasant name, bloody helix is both a beautiful and useful plant. The plant consists of a long stem with a conically shaped flower. The flower is a deep red, though sometimes orange and is rather long, and even at the end it never widens beyond 1 and a half inches across. The flower can be made into a soothing and calming tea that is known to bring a calm energy to the drinker. The roots, if properly cleaned and prepared can be turned into a disinfectant for most poisoned wounds.

Fauna
Humanoid All creatures humanoid in shape, though some less humanoid yet still intelligent life forms have been included.

Humans↬ There are mainly two types of humans on the Origin. One, the mates of the Wylders. They are few and often more "civilised". The other humans live as a clan. They live at the West of the mainland, and see the Admyns as gods and goddesses and other Wylders as children of the gods. They are divided into seven tribes, each has an Admyn as their patron deity, yet they worship all of them. The clan built a massive temple and has priest and priestesses for festivals and offerings.

Wanderbirds ↬ Also called Ravenshadows, these appear in the shape of an abnormally large bird, or a feather clothed humanoid creature. They speak the human language in their human form, but have the cry of their own species in their avian form. They are beautiful singers, capable of luring people like sirens. They are omnivores and prey on small animals or eat berries and nuts from trees and bushes. They are often said to be the Wanderer's children, as they worship the Wanderer as their patron deity. They live mostly at the mountains.

Non-Humanoid Any restrictions to the hunting and killing of a creature is included, be sure to follow any such law.

Pyro-wyrms ↬ Do not be fooled by the name. Pyro-Wyrms are not found in the lava pools of the Origin, rather, they are native to the seas around the place. They are nasty creatures, cunning and dangerous. They have no connection to real fire despite their name, yet the venom it secretes overloads the mental system and creates a sensation not unlike the burning of fire. When fully grown, they appear in the size and shape of a worm with reddish yellow scales. They come in packs, often choosing to hunt larger creatures and share their prey. Their eggs are a translucent shell tinged with yellow and are the size of peas. There is an interesting fact about these creatures, when the eggs are dropped into the freezing coldness of the deepest part of the ocean, one will have a chance to grow into a Pyro-serpent, massive serpents that can crush a Wylder with one bite, these can travel through land and sea alike, bringing terror to nearby inhabitants. There is only one place possible for this to happen, which is Voyd's trench, reaching a depth of 20,000 metres. It was said that Arbiter harnesses one as her steed.

Cryoflies ↬ They are pesky little creatures that are mostly harmless, almost like snow gnats, but they do not bite and are much larger, nearing the size of a hare. They have dragonfly wings and a beetle like body, they also happen to be the main food source for the Wanderbirds.

Wickai ↬ [singular: Wicka] There is one creature known to show up quite often in the area of Derya, though it is quite shy. They are known as the WiEWa43w44wckai, somewhat resembling a dog or wolf with a bear-like snout. They are smaller though, a bit bigger than a large hare. Their fur ranges from grey to white to brown and sometimes black. They live in the hills surrounding Derya, well, under the hills. They are tunnellers, and make a home in tunnels and caves.
