lilliana
"can i talk to you?" justin came up to me and begged as i looked up to see him clad in his blue and yellow jacket again and i see mine hung in my locker as i turned my head to him.
"yes justin?" i sighed as his face lit up when i responded.
"are you and dempsy a thing?" he asked as he looked behind me and i turned around to see zach staring at us.
"no, he's just a friend," i explained, shutting my locker and made my way to class.
"lil, you gotta know me and jess were never a thing and i would never ignore you and babe, i was angry that dempsy knew how to make you happy and i don't and i hated the fact that he makes you smile and i am just a kid that's poor and abused. the hour before the party, he hit me. worse thing was my mom just stared in disgust," he said as his lip shivered and hot tears rolled down his cheek and i immediately wiped them away with the end of my sleeve of my cardigan.
"justin," i said as i looked down with guilt and i dragged him to the carpark and we leaned against my car as i pulled him into a hug and he sobbed into my shoulders once again.
"alright justin, one more chance," i muttered as he looked up at me now with a tinge of hope behind his eyes.
"thank you so much baby," he whispered as his hands snaked around my waist and my head rested on his shoulder.
"just don't break my heart again," i said with fear and he pulled away and took his thumb and caressed my cheekbones as he leaned in and so did i and he kissed me. "i won't, trust me," he said as a grin formed and our lips connected once again.
my heart would skip so many beats cause of him.
what would i do if he cheated again?
