why would hannah be so cheery after attempting to commit suicide.
i sat there on the couch wrapped up in zach's arms as soft snores escaped his lips and hannah was on the bed as she held the book in her hand tightly while sleeping.
"hannah baker, why are you so cheery?" i mumbled as i tried to figure out what was happening to her and zach shuffled as he kissed my forehead.
"baby it's 4am, why are you awake?" he asked as he pulled me closer.
"i can't sleep i guess," i whispered as he smiled and pecked me on the forehead. "go to sleep baby," he whispered as i smiled and he took his varsity jacket and placed it over me.
"good night baby," he kissed me as i smiled and i cuddled into him as soft snores soon escaped his lips again.
i giggled as his warmth warmed me up in the icy cold room.

doctors murmured as hannah sat on the bed with a huge smile.
"doctors, can i speak to you for a moment?" i asked politely.
"why is hannah so cheery?" i asked in confusion as the doctors looked down.
"seems as if she has smiling depression," they explained her condition as my heart sank.
