Chapter 12

"Psttt" 

"Hey wake up!"

"Elise its important!" Someone yelled in my ear making me slowly open my eyes and stare at the most annoying brother ever.

"What Don? what is more important than my sleep?!" I grumbled.

"I'm hungry, could you make one of those special breakfast things" He said scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh my god! you woke me up just for that!" I said pushing him off my bed causing him to land flat on his back.

"Yes! do you want me starving?!" He argued back.

"Fine just get out before I hit you" I glared at him making him smile and run out of my room.

I got up and took a quick shower before jogging downstairs. Opening the fridge I asked Don what he wanted to eat to that he replied "Anything " which was real 'helpful'.

I decided to make my famous grilled cheese.

"here" I said placing the plate of grilled cheese and bacon in front of Don.

"thank you!" He said before digging in. I looked at the time and saw it was ten, wait didn't I have to meet up with Tanner?! shit.

I grabbed my shoes before heading out. I arrived at the coffee shop fifteen minutes later.

I searched around and saw Tanner in the far corner playing some game on his phone.

"Hey sorry i'm late" I said sitting down.

"I was about to think you set me up" He said tucking his phone into his pocket.

"So what do you want?" I asked.

"Well didn't I make it clear yesterday? I wanted and still do want to go on a date with you" He smiled making me raise an eyebrow at him.

"Bullshit." I stared at him.

"so to you it's almost impossible to believe that I actually may fancy you?" He asks.

"that's right Impossible" I clicked my tongue making him chuckle.

"well Elise I actually do like you" He says making me blush. Why am I blushing!? 

I somehow spent a good time with Tanner, but i'm still questioning myself about his sudden interest in me.

After exchanging our numbers we went our separate ways, I ran to Nathans house for some odd reason and knocked on his door multiple times before he finally decided to open the door.

"Quit banging on my door women!" He said making me laugh.

"I was not banging on your door! I was knocking!" I argued.

"Oh so you call this knocking?" He said banging on his door.

"Okay fine maybe I was banging" I admitted making him smile and open the door wider for me to enter.

"So what ya doing?" I asks dancing around his living room.

"What does it look like I was doing" He said showing me his workout outfit.

"Ew. you're working out again" I joked making him playfully push me on the couch.

"Yea, you should try it out sometimes" He winked walking out of the living room and into his room. Is he calling me fat?!

"Are you calling me fat!" I chased after him.

"Never said that I just thought you wanted abs" He said

"True, but I don't have time for that soo..."

"Excuses!" He yelled making me jump.

"No! I actually don't have time!" I argued.

"Excuses,Excuses and Oh? guess what? EXCUSES" He said poking my cheeks.

"Pft! fine maybe they are excuses.." I said making him smirk... God  I wish I could slap that smirk off his face..

"come on then" He said tugging me the back of his garden.

"what?" I said making him slap his hand over his forehead.

"we are going to workout!" He said grabbing two yoga mats and placing them on the floor.

"I'm sorry but did you say we  as in me and you?" 

"No I meant me and Barry Allen, YES OF COURSE YOU!" he said pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Okay okay! calm your tits down jeez.." I grumbled.

"Elise come on!" Nathan said.

"Can't breath" I complained laying flat on my back.

"You did only five push ups!" He said throwing his arms up in defeat.

"Exactly! that's enough for me today" I said getting up and heading towards the kitchen and made myself some chicken sandwich.

"Really...you're eating already?" Nathan said leaning against the counter.I ignored him and happily munched away on my chicken sandwich.

"Also its like eleven, aren't you usually sleeping at that time?" he asks.

"Yer but today Don barged into my room at like nine and asked me to make him some breakfast and also I went to meet up with Tanner at that cute little coffee shop" I said

"Wait Tanner?" Nathan asks, I nodded my head making him frown.

"He isn't good news and I may or may not have heard a rumor recently." Nathan said walking up to me taking the other half of my sandwich making me glare at him.

"what rumor? " I asked.

"That he and Brooke are dating, and we both know that you two aren't the best of friends" He said taking a bite of the sandwich.

"What do you mean?" I asks.

"Well you see, You and Aaron are hanging out A LOT and we all know Brooke and Aaron were a thing before he dumped her for cheating on him with Tanner. Brooke might have saw you both hanging and decided to send Tanner after you to probably humiliate you afterwards..but hey I'm not sure" He said taking another big bite of the chicken sandwich.

"thinking about it..You might be right! look at you being all Mr.detective" I said pinching his cheeks making him smile

"I try" He shrugged.
