Chapter 16

I stood there in shock. Aaron was kissing me but I wasn't kissing him back. he sighed before pulling away.

"I- I didn't..." He sighed before walking away leaving me to stand here like the biggest idiot ever.Aaron kissed me. Did he like me? I thought before shaking my head. He left me and I have no idea how to get back home. screw parties! never going to one ever again! next time i'll stay in my warm bed watching Super girl or The flash.

I walked back home which was pretty far. Once back home I heard whispers.

"Elise? honey weren't you supposed to come back before eleven,right now its eight" Liza (Elise's mother) asked.

"Is everything alright Elise?" Mom (Elise's adoptive mother) asked.

"Y-yes, I'm just going to sleep" I said before rushing upstairs. 

He kissed me.

Was all I could think of the past hour. Does he regret it?..

I decided to just go to sleep and figure things out with him tomorrow.

I walked downstairs seeing my adoptive parents and my biological parents laughing in the kitchen. guess Liza and Greg stayed over night.

"Good morning!" they all yelled at the same time causing me to send them glares.

"two parents were enough..now I have four annoying ones" Jack muttered causing them laugh as I pat his shoulder.

We all had breakfast together before I headed out to school.

"Hey" I heard familiar voices making me look up.

Carmen,Wilson and Nathan were there smiling.

"What." I asked 

"Err nothing we were just saying 'hi' " Nathan said scratching the back of his head.

"Hi." I said before walking off.

"Hey wait up!" Carmen yelled running after me.

"Last night was so A-mazing!" She sang and continued "I met this cute boy and we-"

"and you ditched me" I finished her sentence making her pout.

"I'm sorry, I never meant to ditch you it's just that he was so nice and I-".

"Wasn't our saying chicks before dicks?" I asked making her sigh "You could of at least told me you left with him. but no you just left, the guys also abandoned me leaving me to walk all the way back home!" I whisper yelled making her frown.

"I'm really sorry!" she said again making me give in and hug her. I ended up telling about Aaron kissing me last night making her scream and start creating our ship name causing me roll my eyes at her.

"So um.. Eliron?or  Elron?" She muttered to herself making me slap her behind the head.

"stop." I said making her roll her eyes and continue with the ship names.

Around lunch we were all there even Aaron, He avoided eye contact with me and barely spoke to me. I sighed before saying "Aaron can we talk" Making all eyes turn to me. He sighed thinking about it. "Please." I said making him nod,we get up from his seat walking outside of the cafeteria to the field.

"Listen it was just a mistake okay." He said. Ouch.

"Oh right yer" I muttered.

"I didn't mean it like that" He sighed running his fingers through his hair.

"No I get it really. You kissed me, I didn't kiss you back. It was a mistake" I repeated his words before walking away. Why did it hurt so much! what is this pain in my chest I am feeling right now?! A tear slid down my cheeks but I quickly wiped it away.
