After school I rushed to the hospital to go and see my father, I know how crappy the hospital food can be so I brought him a burger and smoothie,Of course I had to pretend it was my food because If they knew that I bought this for my dad they would of temporarily confiscated it.

Hospitals nowadays...

"Hey daddy" I softly said entering his room and closing the door behind me.

"Hey princess" He croaked.

"Feeling better?" I asked whilst sitting down on the nearest chair.

"Not much,Have you even tasted the crappy food they give us here" He whined like a child making me smile, I lift up the plastic bag and his eyes lit up.

"Did I ever tell you that you are my favorite child" He said opening up the plastic bag.

"No no, but it's good to know" I smiled watching him devour his burger and occasionally sip on his smoothie.

"Ahh!" He smiled patting his now round stomach.

"When will you be able to come back home?" I said looking at the floor.

"Not before next month." He said making me look up at him with wide eyes.

"B-but..." I whispered feeling tears starting to form in my eyes.

"Ha! I was just kidding kid,now come on don't cry and come and give your old man a hug" He chuckled.

Wiping my eyes, I stuck my tongue out at him and hugged him tight.

"Well I better go now" I smiled kissed him on his forehead,Grabbing the now emptied plastic bag I headed out.

Walking to the hospital was one of the dumbest thing I ever did In my life. Angry at myself I waited for the bus.

"Elise?" I heard a familiar voice making me look up.

"Hey" I smiled at Aaron.

"Need a ride?" I nodded and followed him to his car that wasn't situated so far from where I was.

"How's your dad?" He asked.

"He looks better, Maybe he is better without those damns medications." I said looking out of the window.

"Maybe" He said.

After thanking Aaron for the ride ,I couldn't help but invite him inside. No one was at home mom is god knows where and my brothers are no where to be seen.

"This is weird..where's Jack" I whispered searching for him.

"Mom? Don? Jack?" I yelled.

"aren't they visiting your dad?" Aaron asked and I shook my head to say 'no'.

Once inside Jacks room, my eyes widened.

Jack was in the corner of his room crying silently whilst there was a knocked out Don on the floor.

I gasped and ran to Jack whilst Aaron took care of Don.

"What happened?!" I asked Jack cupping his face making sure he was alright.

"He took my Nintendo and threw it because I accidentally deleted the recent progress in call of duty" he said wiping his tears furiously.

"So I took the baseball bat and hit him real hard!...and then he fell " he confessed.

"I think I killed him Elise"he whispered cutely.

I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

After fifteen minutes had passed Don eventually woke up, glaring at Jack he got up and rubbed his head.
