Today was another normal day at school,well that's what I thought it would be until the principle called me into his office.

what did i do?

is it because I glared at the teacher?

is it because I never really do my homework?

I could eat a cookie right now...

Focus Elise Focus!

"Elise,Please do come in." The principle said opening the door.

I took a seat, and started fidgeting.

"You are dismissed for the day" He said.

"Huh?"

"Your mother called, She wants you to pick your little brother Jack and head immediately to the hospital" 

Not wasting a time, I rudely shoved people out of my way and entered my car.

Dad.

Hang in there dad.

Stopping by Jack's primary school, I waited enough to get pissed of at the teachers.

"My mother needs me and my little brother to the hospital asap!" I yelled.

"Without parental permission i'm afraid we can't let you take him." a teacher said forcing a smile.

"Than call my mother you idiots!"

They wasted no time calling my mother, when I finally saw Jack I picked him up without glancing at the teachers,rushing us to my car.

"El what's going on?" He whispered.

"It's Dad" I said 

"But he is going to be fine,right El?"

"I don't know,mum didn't tell me anything." tears were threatening to come out of my eyes, but if someone had to be strong, it was me,if Jack saw me cry he would also himself cry.

I parked carelessly and  grabbed Jacks hand before we both started to run to the hospital.

"Elise?" 

I turned around and saw Don.

"W-what's going on?" I asked my voice started to tremble.

He shook his head and tears made its way out of his eyes.

"no,no,no!" I yelled shaking my head.

"Where's mom!" I yelled again.

"inside with dad".

I rushed into my father's hospital room and saw my dad's Pale looking self.

"D-daddy?" I whispered.

Mum smiled sadly at me before kissing my dad's cheek and walking out, I sat myself near dad crying.

"Y-you were f-fine yesterday! I don't understand?!" I cried.

"It's okay, we all knew it was going to happen soon enough " he held onto my hand and said.

"Promise me something" I looked up at him wiping my tears away.
