Someone just knocked on the door. I ignored it. It was probably just my mum or Laura, I didn't check, I don't want to see them right now, I don't want to see anyone but you Simon. I want you to be here with me looking through these pictures but that isn't going to happen.

September 30th 2012

I'm 6 months pregnant today, oh where is the time going? We've been picking up small things for the baby but today we decided we're going to get everything for his nursery.

We also need to pick a name, I keep meaning to bring it up to Simon but I always forget, I decide now that I'm going to bring it up as we drive to the shopping centre.

"Simon?"

"Yes Adele?"

"You know we still haven't got a name for the baby. We can't just call him peanut."

"Why not? I like the name peanut."

I look over at him, my eyebrows are furrowed, he chuckles at the fact I've gone silent and then shakes his head.

"Don't worry honey, I'm only joking."

"You better be. Seriously Simon, what are we going to name him?"

"Something unusual."

"Yes but what?"

"Let me think for a minute."

Suddenly a name comes into my mind as we pass a sign for a new building.

"Simon."

"Yes dear?"

"I have a name."

"We'll come on and tell me then!"

I hesitate for another moment before saying the name out loud, unsure of whether Simon will love it or hate it.

"Angelo. Angelo Konecki."

There's silence between the two of us again and I don't even dare look at Simon, worried he will think the name is stupid.

"Adele, you're magical."

"Um.. thanks? Is that a yes or a no to the name?"

"A yes obviously!" Simon says happily as we pull into the shopping centre car park.

We stick together as we go from each store, picking up things as we go.

Eventually we have everything that will be completely necessary, mostly the big things.

We head back home and when we pull in I see another car in the driveway, my mums car.

"That's a surprise visit."
I say to Simon as he puts the car into park.

I get out and walk to the car. I knock on the window, giving my mum a fright in the process.

She gets out of the car and comes around to hug me.

"Oh wow! You've gotten big!" My mum exclaims as we pull away from the hug.

"Babe I'll bring the stuff in, you go sit on the porch, catch up with your mum."
Simon tells me and I nod my head.

We walk through the house and I grab my sunglasses from the countertop, I put them on as we walk outside.

I sit down and place my hand on my bump, my mum stands beside me and just as she's about to speak we hear the sneaky click of Simons camera.

"That was sly Si." I point my finger at him as I speak.

"That rhymed Adele." He says with a chuckle.

"Fabulous!" He chuckles as he walks into the house, Polaroid picture in hand.
