It Was You

Chapter 2

"Kim Jongdae! Yah! I did hear you were back but I was not sure you would be here!" Jongdae was greeted the moment he entered the hall

"Yah! Kim Munho! I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

"Jongdae ah~ You became a doctor huh?"

"Doctor? THAT troll Kim Jongdae is a doctor!?"

People gathered around Jongdae.

"Yah yah yah! You guys call me Dr.Kim from now!"

"Aaishh...he hasn't changed at all.."

Like in the past, Jongdae was still the people attractor. People naturally flocked around him.

"So, are you married Kim Jongdae?" Hyunwoo asked

"Hmm, not yet."

"girlfriend then?"

"No. I have been travelling and working so much that I just didn't have time.." he sighed dramatically

"What about you? Are you guys married?"

"I'm engaged. You have to come to the wedding!" Hyunwoo showed him the ring

"I'm still single. I broke up with her few months back.." Munho replied with a sigh...

While they were talking, he noticed the guys peeking somewhere behind him time to time

"Yah, are you even listening to me? What are you looking at?"Chen looked behind him, the source of distraction...Only to see the vision in white..It might sound cheesy but he was literally out of breath..

It was the mystery girl...all dressed up in white gown..as if she ran away from her wedding or something

So it was not my imagination after all..

"Mun..ho..who is she?" Jongdae asked

"I don't know...Family members are supposed to be here only after six..Maybe there's some surprise event or something.."

As if he was being pulled by some magnet, he moved towards her

"Yah, Kim Jongdae!" he could hear his friends calling after him, but he could care any less. His mind was only focused on her.

Kim Jongdae! What if she turns out being one of the girlfriends! Or worse, one of the wives!

His mind was warning him, but he headed to her never the less

She turned back just when he was about to reach her, as if she sensed him

She looked directly at his eyes as she greeted him

"Anneonghaseyo Kim Jongdae sshi. Great seeing you again." she bowed slightly

"You..you..do you know me?"

She pointedly looked at the name tag on his cloth and raised her eyebrows

Realizing his silliness he countered back

"Look, I'm obviously at disadvantage here. You know my name but I don't know yours. Why don't we correct that?"

"Hmm, I'm Eunji." She offered no more details and he left at that, intending to find out more later. He instead decided to ask more pressing questions

"So Eunji sshi. I really hope you are not, but you don't happen to be a runaway bride do you?"

Eunji laughed out loud at the question, earning more stare from the other classmates there

"I had to confirm, didn't I?" he glanced at her from head to toe, making Eunji's body tingle

"Ha ha..don't worry I'm no runaway bride" Eunji replied with a nervous laugh, feeling very much aware about him.
