Ch. 9

"Yeol Oppa, good job today! I'm sorry it took so long. I thought it would be over in an hour or two.." Eunji said apologetically

"It's part of the job, don't worry." He said as they walked along the street

"Are you sure you would be comfortable in hotel? The invitation to my home is still open, you know?"

"Ya, you are home after so long. I wouldn't want to interlude on your family time. And the hotel is in the center of Busan, so I can go around more on my own." He patted her head

"Well, if you say so..... but I insist you come to my home for dinner one day!"

"Sure "

They had reached the hotel he was staying at

"It's pretty late, are you sure you'll be fine going home alone?" he asked worriedly

"You don't have to worry. I'll take a taxi. And yeah, I'll pick you up tomorrow!" Eunji waved off Chanyeol who reluctantly entered the hotel

"Omma~ Minki ya~ I'm home!" Eunji shouted as she entered her home

"This smell of home~" she took a long breath

"Noona!" Minki shouted from the living room.

Eunji rushed in and hugged her brother, who had now become taller than her

"Ya, how can you grow like this? I don't even get to hug you properly now."

"Eunji ya, you were pretty late. I thought your friend would be here with you." Her mother commented from kitchen

"Omma, he is staying at the hotel in the city. I invited him to dinner tomorrow though. Is that okay?"

"Of course it's okay. Any friend of yours is welcome to this house."

"Thank you, omma~" Eunji went and hugged her mother, sticking by her side for a while

"Aigoo, you are a full grown woman but you still stick to me like a kid"

"Omma~ "

"Go wash up now. I'm sure you are hungry. Go wash up, the dinner is ready!"

"Neh~"

Eunji enjoyed her mother's dinner after long time. It was the thing she missed the most living in Seoul.

After dinner, she spent some quality time with her mother and brother. So it was pretty late by the time she got time to call Chen.

She plopped down on the bed of her room and took out her phone.

Hul..it was off this entire time. I wonder if he's worried..But it's already so late..

She turned on her phone and made the call

"Yobuseyo?" Chen answered sleepily

"I'm sorry I woke you up. I'll call you later, oppa. Sleep well.." Eunji could hear some rustle before Chen replied

"I'm wide awake now. Yaa. You made me really worried today. Both your and Chenyeol's phone was off!"

"I'm sorry about that. I was planning of calling you after I reached, but the work ran long, and I finally got some time now.." she said apologetically

"Aigoo, don't burn yourself out...Go get some rest now. I'll call you tomorrow. "

"Arasso oppa, goodnight!"
