Chapter 4

Kat pov:
I felt small I felt myself panicking I didn't know what to do with myself  I wanted to end it right there I started crying throwing everything I could grab until I heard her scream and I froze "oh shit.."
"Kee! I'm so sorry you okay!?"
She just nodded and pulled me near her and held me she sat me down "Kat I need you to calm down okay can you calm down for me , what is fucking going on"
"You remember my father danmerie..?"
"Yea.."
As I tell her memories flooded my mind
*flashback*
"OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR KATEERA DADDY WONT HURT YOU!"
i locked myself in my room he tried to come at me again it only happens when he's drunk then again..when isn't he he gets extra violent when he's drunk
He starts laughing banging on the door and yelling until he finally breaks it down I'm terrified I didn't know what to do I was only 5'1 I was skinny as hell no muscle at all he launched at me and I ran I almost made it to the door until I was pulled my by hair to the floor "STOP GET OFF OF ME STOP I-" I was cut off with his belt wrapped around my neck I felt the numbness of body slowly disappear as my gasps of air was worthless he looked in my eyes I saw nothing but hate I saw a monster he wasn't the loving father I once knew him as
he stopped choking me but right after I felt a sharp pain go into my side and run down to my thigh I screamed to the high heavens that he'd just kill me already and get it over with
"You scream just like your mom" he got off me and smiled down at me I froze I was in utter shock
He killed my mom..
I was barely able to get up but I did I don't know what came over me that night but i thanked it over and over again I jabbed him with the knife that he put in me as he fell I started to limp over to the phone calling the cops something told me not to kill him I'm guessing it was my mom she always said what comes around goes around he'll get his karma soon enough...
*flashback over*
"I think he's back and trying to get revenge.." I say lowly kee hadn't said a word but when I look at her she has tears in her eyes
"Why didn't you tell me..I could have helped you get out of that house I could have protected you..you told me you got into a car accident for when you were in the hospital and he got arrested because he was drunk driving.." she said through sobs
"I was scared...I'm still scared the nightmare I have at night is coming true..he's out and he can find me he sent his goons on me that night and now I'm pregnant by one of his goons"
My hand connect with my face "how did he find me!" I said over and over "I moved i did everything I could so he couldn't find me but how?"
Kee took my hand "Kat I have to tell you something.." she looked at me like she was scared
"What.."
"I-I'm in a gang that rivals with his.." I punched her in the face as soon as she said that
"WTF AKEEMA YOU KNEW HE WAS OUT?!" After that was a blur but I could hear kee scream for me she was struggling with me it sounded like I was under water I was having trouble breathing I was having seizure.. they always happen when I'm over stressed  it was a good 3 minutes before I came to she was holding me I didn't want her to but I couldn't help but to feel right
"I'm not going to let him get to you I promise baby please I just got you I don't want to lose you already I'm going to protect you he'll have to kill me first before he gets to you" she picked me up and put me on the bed rubbed my back until I was sound sleep in her arms at least I knew tonight I'd be safe
Kee pov:
I finally told her my darkest secret but I needed to I want her to feel safe I'm not going to let anything hurt her anymore shawty can throw a pretty decent ass punch tho shit not gone hold you on that one shit hurt like hell thought I was having a case a whiplash didn't expect that from her at all
*DING DING*
Boss: I need you now we got tips on Ramos gang it's about your friend...
Me: ard boss On my way!
As much as I didn't want to leave her I had to I needed to hurry and get him off the street before he comes after her again sliding off the bed gently and quietly as possible she woke up "kee.."
Fuck..
"Baby girl I have to handle business in order to get him off the streets I need to go now don't be scared I promise you I'm coming back" I kissed her passionately and looked in her eyes "you promise..?" I nod "pinky promise" I let out my pinky she smiled a bit and kissed me again and I left in a hurry to the trap house
"YO WHAT IS IT!"
" jinks!!(my nickname here) we down in the basement hurry up" 
"Ralph scoped the area and was able to hear the meeting" boss was now pointing at him signaling him to begin talking
He placed a tape recorder on the table and pressed play
*tape recording+
"Don, Bruno you did what I asked?"
Two men said yes boss on unison
"Good I'm making my move soon in due time she'll pay for the day she sent me away I'll fucking kill her and the bitch she with next is her"
"Boss..she's with 200"
"Oh really infiltrate they grounds no mercy but save her to me with her girl understood?!"
"Yes boss" everyone said in unison
*end of tape*
I was fuming "HE WONT HAVE HER!!" everyone was calming me down talking to me and boss was just sitting there we all waiting for him to say something we knew he was thinking
He looks up at me "your not in this mission you protect your grounds at the house with her we got the rest"
"NO HIS ASS IS MI-" I was cut off by boss yelling "NO!!"he stood in my face and grabbed my wrist shaking "your like a daughter to me I lost my daughter to the game before I'm not losing another go home we got this if I need your help I will call you"
"Keep me up to date that's all I ask" I turned on my heels and left rushing home I saw a car parked down the street from her house something ain't right here I grabbed my gun when I got out my car walking up to the door I saw a familiar figure standing at the door
