Kee pov
I stood there shocked to actually see her standing there she looked shaken up she was smaller and she had a black eye she was shivering I was gonna just leave her ass but my conscious kicked in
Ughhh kee your better than that
"Come on but be quiet sit on the couch I'll talk to you in a min" she put her head down slowly and nodded tears in her eyes
I walked upstairs and stopped when I saw Kat sleep I didn't want to scare her awake so I walked gingerly to her side and rubbed her back I never noticed how her lips curved up when she slept soundly the way her face was silk smooth she looked perfect to me her long lashes her cute button nose I admired everything about her face I loved everything about her my best friend and my baby
When I started shaking her she furrowed her eyebrows and moved slightly
"Baby girl wak-"
"AHHH!DADDY STOPP GET OFFF!" She hit me hard as hell in the chest ain't gonna hold you shit hurt like hell but I had to calm her down first
"Baby it's me it's kee baby calm down it's okay I'm right here" I held her tight to me

"I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to scream or anything I'm sorry"
"I'm sorry I scared you it's not your fault don't beat yourself up about it but someone is downstairs I need to help" her beautiful hazel eyes planted themselves on mine with confusion
"Who?"
I just looked down I didn't know how she'd react I know she doesn't like her "jazmine" I said lowly
"WTF KEE NO WE NOT HELPING HER AFTER WHAT HAPPENED WHY WOULD YOU HELP HER!"
"Because bae I can't turn my head away when someone needs help I know what she did to me was wrong I was at my lowest because of her but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night with her looking like that.."
"Looking like what?"
"Come on bae" I held her hand and walked her down with me jazmine was on the couch shivering and crying when she looked at us she looked drained of everything she had and I felt Kat squeeze my hand and covered her mouth and she quickly got ice and gave it to her
"What happen jazmine?"
She looked at me scared and crying "I escaped" was all she said before crying more "she gave me up to him she watched him do this to me if he didn't get what he wanted.."
"What who and did what!" I said getting mad
"Serinity gave me up to a guy and let him do whatever he wanted to me..beat me..rape me..I'm pregnant kee"
"Where is she Jazmine"
"NO! I came here because I heard them talk about her" she pointed at Kat
"What you talking about the guy was coming after her soon but I set their house on fire when I left money and all gone"
I stopped in my tracks to look at Kat and looked back at jazmine "do you remember the guys name she nodded and said Ramos my heart started to beat fast and I heard something come through the window it was a brick with a note and a gunshot followed my first instinct was to protect Kat by the time I got to her she hit the floor
"Fuck.."
