Hey, guys. The Occult Club is out on a vacation for 2 chapters so I decided to make previews for the 2 fanfics. Pricefield VS. Okayano. So this is the preview for the Pricefield fanfic. Enjoy!

"There's a motel, Chloe. We can stay there for the night." I pointed.

"It looks crappy. But crappy is as good as good will get." Chloe sighed and pulled into the parking lot, her wheels screeching against the road.

Chloe checked her pockets. "Shit. You don't happen to have any money on you, do ya?"

"I've got us covered." I pulled out a 50 dollar bill.

"Maximillion strikes again!" Chloe said, trying to sound optimistic.

"How can you be so happy about this? After what happened back there?" I snapped.

"I'm just trying to brighten the mood." Chloe shrugged.

"You know what? You're right. It would be a lot better if we could just start over." I smiled.

"Okay. Hello, there. You're Max Caulfield, correct?" Chloe asked.

I giggled. "That's me. Who's asking?"

"The name's Chloe Price." Chloe smiled.

I laughed. "You are such a dork." I got out of the car.

Chloe opened the door for me, like a gentleman.

"Ladies first." She smiled.

"Mhmm. Thanks." I grabbed my ID from my pocket and put it down on the receptionist desk.

"Fifty dollars, commoner." The annoying, gum-chewing receptionist said while typing away on her phone.

"We're the commoners? You're the one who's working at a shitty ass motel and-"

"Chloe, shut up." I ordered.

"Sorry. She got to me."

The receptionist glared at the bluenette and hesitantly gave me a key card.

"Thanks for staying at Crippy Crappy Motel." The receptionist smiled falsely.

"Fuck you too." Chloe smiled and let me lead the way to our room.

I opened the door after slipping the key card in the lock and plopped on Chloe plopped on top of the bed.

I dropped my backpack on the floor and grabbed a blanket from a nearby closet.

I spread it out on the floor and got as comfortable on the ground as possible. And the most comfortable was pretty uncomfortable.

"What are you doing?" Chloe asked, sitting up to look at me.

"Getting ready to sleep." I replied, nonchalantly.

"Oh no, you don't. You're sleeping up here with me. We don't want you uncomfortable now, do we?"

"But that's a twin-sized bed. We wouldn't fit. It's okay, Chloe. I can sleep down here." I assured.

"Nope. Come up here. We'll figure something out." Chloe scooted over and patted on the space next to her.

I stood up and attempted to lie down next to Chloe and then fell.

"Ow."

"Uhm, it's okay. Let me scoot over just a bit. There." She lied down on her side as I lied down on my side too, so we were facing each other.

We sat there in silence, the only sound was our noses, whistling as we exaled.

"So, Mad Max. Where are we headed to?" Chloe's voice pierced through the silence.

"I don't know. I was thinking about-" My phone rang.

"Who could be calling you? Your mom and dad would be asleep by now." Chloe said.

"I... I don't know." I looked at the caller ID.

"No way." My eyes widened.

"Who is it?" Chloe asked urgently.

"He's still alive!" I exclaimed.

"Who!? That fucker Mark!?" Chloe was getting impatient.

"Warren."

That's all I'm giving you. You'll have to see what's up if this gets enough votes against Okayano.

Hope you enjoyed it though!
